I love Nightcrawler, he's one of my favorite X-Men and he was pretty awesome in X2 but he was left out of The Last Stand with no apparent reason as to why he left and where he went.

I'd like to see more Nightcrawler in action, anyone else?

Honest question.

Can characters who can't carry a comic book carry a movie?

Solo X-Men characters essentially need to be able to carry their own franchise and work just as well away from the main X Teams. There's really only 2-3 that can do that imo. Nightcrawler while interesting, has his best stories within the team and I think that is were people want to see him.

I wish Fox had the Tv-rights for the X-Men. So they could make a X-Men origins series and air it on Fox and for every episode, it will feature the story origin of a mutant that we saw in the X-Men movies.

I don't think it would be very expensive, origin stories usually don't need a big scale and lots of action sequences. I think the only problem they could face, is they might have a problem getting some of the actors to appear in the TV show.

It would be great as a DVD one shot. It's tricky for movies because it means the actors have to go through 4 hours of makeup at the start and the end of the day every day. That's why I don't think a mystique movie is likely to happen

I thought he was great in X2 also! The reason he wasn't in The Last Stand is because Alan Cumming did not want to commit to the rigorous hours of make-up to become the character. He didn't enjoy that aspect of the filming at all on X2. It's a shame but I do think he's interesting enough to get a good solo movie on him.

Actually Nightcrawler was written out in X3 because of his small role in the script. Alan Cumming complaining about the make-up is probably a factor but it was not the final nail in the coffin.

Apocalypse is going to do most of the groundwork for a young Nightcrawler. I'd have to say no. The only solo films that I can see Fox doing are Silver Surfer, Wolverine and Deadpool. The X-Men and Fantastic Four are teams for a reason.

Fox cannot even put Deadpool in production and I don't think a Silver Surfer solo film would ever work on Fox. Wolverine's solo films did well at the box-office because its Wolverine, one of the most popular superheroes ever and he already got a big exposure/push from the 1st three X-films but Deadpool/Silver Surfer?

Fox just doesn't have a lot of distinct properties that can be made into a movie except for X-Men/Fantastic Four.

won't happen, but I would support it. I also want a solo animated showcase. Again, 99.99999% won't happen, but Kurt should get more exposure.
