Both good, but overall I prefer The Batman. Definite callbacks to Bat-Keaton's first face-to-face with Joker at Axis Chemicals and first face-to-face with Catwoman on the rooftop, and Bat-Bale's Joker interrogation. But Jesus, the more I see of Pattinson's cowl the more I hate it. Hopefully his performance gets me past it. I pray it gets a redesign for the sequel.

NWH had the better trailer.

I just can't get excited for ANOTHER Batman movie. And it has nothing to do with the actors or stellar cinematography (I see inspiration from both Roger Pratt and Wally Pfister in the lighting).

Wouldn't The Flash trailer be more comparable?

The first new Batman movie since 2012? Yawn.

The 5th Spider-Man film since 2012? A-OK.

:o

Dude, the problems you have with the Spider-Man movies are the same I have with Batman.

Have never been a fan of Holland or Garfield Spidey. The nostalgia of seeing Tobey Maguire sharing the screen with those two will drive me to see NWH theatrically.

The Batman just feels like “been there, done that” .

I don't have a problem with the Spider-Man movies. I just found your initial post ironic.

The Batman teaser was Better than No Way Home's and No Way Home teaser is better than The Batman main trailer.

Between those 2 trailers i’d say The Batman is clearly the superior one.

Even though I think it would make more sense to compare Teasers with Teasers and in that regard I think Spider-Man’s teaser was better than The Batman Teaser.

Will be interesting to compare The Batman and Spider-Man:NWH official trailers. The Batman set the bar high but I think Spider-Man can surpass it.

I kind of feel the same. Batman is THE superhero but it has been done so many times and has been done so well many times. Had this new Spider-man been just another Spider-man movie, then I probably would have felt the same about that.

The Batman trailer. Simply for the fact that it looks like we're getting a good version of Batman in the movies again after nearly 10 years.

I've been enjoying the MCU Spidey movies, and am beyond excited to see the Raimi verse characters back again. But Batman's been through darker times in the last few years in the movies so I am more pumped to see light at the end of the tunnel.

No Way Home.

I find The Batman trailers boring, doesn't fill me with any excitement. Same old dark gritty tone just with different actors that don't seem an improvement from TDKR.

The Batman, easily. I'm very hyped for No Way Home due to the Raimi verses involvement. The Raimi films is really what made me fall in love with this genre, and it really shaped my childhood and how a movie series can affect me. I hold the Raimi trilogy near and dear to my heart and only rank TDK trilogy above it. The ending of the No Way Home trailer got me so hyped to see Molina again, but even with all of that, I feel like at the end of the day The Batman trailer was just so much better and more effective. This movie, as a whole, feels like something rare in todays landscape of comic book movies. Gorgeous cinematography, and an actual artistic vision that isn't effected by being a "cog in a machine", and it's also just amazing to finally be excited about Batman in film again.

Also, I really have not been a fan of the MCU Spider-Man movies as much as Id like to have been sadly. As I said, my entire excitement for No Way Home hinges on Tobey Maguire, Alfred Molina, and Willem Dafoe.

The Batman probably better? But I'm already invested in Holland's Spider-Man and throw in characters from Raimi? Spider-Man.

One is a cog in the machine that relies on hype from previous (and better films) to sell itself.

The other is a genuinely unique film that looks to really stand apart from not just other Batman films but superhero films in general.

Thought the first batman trailer was better honestly, wasnt feeling much about this one, didnt care for the score and it all felt too…idk…familiar

Reeves is just retreading the gritty-yet-grounded approach from Nolan and Snyder.

I was really hoping he'd embrace the more fantastical side of Batman, a la the animated series. I can definitely envision Pattinson's Batman taking on Clayface or Man-Bat in a more heightened Gotham reality.

Was Snyder's Batman grounded? Gritty, sure... But his Batman is defined by the fact he fought then befriended Superman then helped against Doomsday, and led Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman in a defense against Darkseid's forces. The next movie we see him in will be about parallel universes.
