Nod to new 52 universe and other aspects

MOS 2 has endless possibilites and options - i would love to see a couple more nods to the 'superman universe' as well as the new 52.

When they rebooted action comics, i enjoyed the 'homemade' suit - i liked it. I was also a bit disappointed it went so quickly.
A great scene in MOS 2 could be Clark in 'normal' clothes, similar to what he had when he was in Canada, boots, cargo pants and a plain t shirt and he is in the crowd, superman has created buzz, a few shops sell 'artist' renditions, caps, t shirts etc of what they think the S looks like etc - obviously this would happen in real life - crazes, fads are always the pic for t shirts etc - anyways, so a situation occurs and Clark knows he will be in the public eye, so what does he do, grab a t shirt and cape combo from a stall and fly to action - he could be under a rock, or collapsed crane and his face his in a shadow, except for glowing red eyes.

What other nods to the comics would you like to see?

Also, the Donner theme tune, i feel a ceremony where metropolis honours superman, a brass band could be playing a rendition of that theme - it could work really well.

I doubt the people of Metropolis are quite ready to embrace Superman like that in the sequel. I think there will be a lot of animosity towards him after the leveling of the city. I fully expect that Superman has an uphill battle to prove himself while the people support Lex Luthor.

I agree and i want the first half to be split 50/50 with lois and the planet campaigning on Superman's behalf, so to speak, with them publishing articles, really pushing the fact he helped the army defeat Zod where as i want Luthor to be the opposite, against superman, alien invasion, that he is a hindrence, never revealed himself during human hour of needs.

But come on, a city plays host to an 'alien' and the road side stalls and markets will play up on that, capitalising on it.
