Noise annoyances

I don't mean just being disturbed by noise in general, but what specific noises that are made that just bug the **** out of you in general. I got someone on the left side of me popping her gum loudly, and on the right side a dude with earbuds plugged into the iMac, yet I can hear every ****ing thing coming from them. Why do you even have earbuds if everybody else can hear it, are you ****ing deaf?

There aren't many sounds that annoy me...just certain ppls' voices/laughs/bodily noises, etc.....although smells tend to be more annoying.

I like the sound of velcro. I find it soothing. I'm constantly opening and closing it if I have any around.


For me, I agree, I can't stand the sound from someone else's earbuds. Either turn it down or spring for better buds.

Metal utensils on teeth. Makes me cringe. I can just imagine the metal wearing the teeth down.

Any sound that's very repetitive like a ticking clock. Especially when I'm trying to sleep.

Someone in the cube behind me clips his fingernails (or toenails, you never know) every day, first thing in the morning...can't you save that for at home or at least take it to the bathroom??

Well, hearing ignorant teens talking; which ironically happens to be some of those bucket boys.

The hot coffee/chocolate sipping noise....its the worse.

A person holds a cup of hot coffee with both hands, blows over it so it cools down then goes: Shllllllluuuuuupppptttt.....and then the loud "Aaaaahhhh!"

I'm guilty as charged when it comes to listening to my music loud, the amount of dirty looks I've gotten. But hey, I like my music loud goshdarnit!
