In a few years, most people will not care or even remember that any of this happened.

It'll probably be dissolved and return back to being a streaming service for HBO content again and the rest licensed to Netflix and Amazon.

It's just a dumb move. People all over the world think HBO stands for quality tv. When you hear there's a new HBO show, you pay attention. So why would you get rid of that?

I just logged into Max... it's roughly the same UI minus the Hubs section and they added a section just for HBO. Maybe it's because it just came out but it's much faster than HBO Max.

Went ahead and officially canceled my Discovery subscription so that's $6 i save a month now.

WBMax made more sense but common sense ya know? But it's here and done with. Thats a plus

I don't know why they needed to come up with a separate app, when they could've easily rebranded the existing HBO Max app. Clearly no one thought about potentially breaking compatibility with streaming devices that might not be able to install additional streaming apps.

Whoever came up with these stupid business decisions needs a good slap upside the head.

And I still can't get over this worst name change ever. Was there a legit reason they needed to change the name? They could've just kept it, nothing was that wrong with it.
