NYC vs. Chicago

I wasn't aware as of late, but there has been quite the rivalry between the two cities for years, even when one NY Times writer created reasons as to why the former was better than the latter. I'm technically a resident of Indiana but spend more time in Chicago due to work and other things, so I'm more partial. I've been to NY a couple times, but still prefer Chicago. Anyone that's been to both or live in one or the other, which do you prefer?

Chicago has a couple sports teams I've been a fan of since birth (The Bears and Cubs), excellent deep dish, and a killer hot dog.

They both have their pluses and minuses and I've had a lot of fun in both towns. I'll give the slight edge to NYC though because I have more friends and family there.

I never got the "my city is better than your city" debates. NY and Chicago are both great in some ways, and totally suck in others.

The one truly annoying thing I've noticed about NY though, having lived in the NY metropolitan area for 20 years and then having moded, is how full of themselves NYers are. Chiacgo seems to have more fat people though.
