Odd questions about the Hulk?

If you have any unusual questions about The Hulk...post them here. Kind of like my thread "Does the Hulk eat?". Actually a lot of cool facts came out of that one. Anyways I have a few:

If Banner doesn't shave and grows a beard...when he transforms to The Hulk does he still have a beard???

Can Banner get sick? If he can...if he trasnforms to The Hulk does he become instantly better? When he transforms back to Banner is he still cured or is he sick again?

Can The Hulk drown??? How long can he hold his breath???

If Banner grows a beard than I believe yes, the Hulk will have one as well. As for getting sick, Hulk can't get sick through normal illnesess. This is due to the Hulk's enhanced mitotic division rate and immune system, that allows him to heal very fast and kills any pathogen that may invade his body very quickly through the fast rate of B and T cell production and phagocyte production. I dont think Banner can get sick either but I'm not quite sure on this one. As for the Hulk drowning, again it is possible, however he can hold his breath for extended periods of time.

Hulk can hold his breath for hours,even in space,can he drown,well i think hed lose air but once he got to the surface hed be back,hes come back from losing his lungs entirly so ya know..

Yes banner can get sick but hulk doesnt suffer from it,im sure therew would be cases like cosmic viruses or somthing but no flu or colds or even deadly stuff.

I think in one comic he grew gills to adapt but in another he drowned when fighting Namor. So tio be honest, it is all over the place.

Since the Hulk and Banner share essentially the same body (with some added cell growth), wouldn't Banner's body start becoming more defined due to all the "exercise" the Hulk puts the body through?

It'd explain why he went from this 98 pound nerdy guy to someone who's somewhat defined in a lot of comics from the last ten or so years.

Otherwise, you'd have to say the Hulk is a major metamorph. One who can 'create' shapes subconsciously with his mind (as evidenced by the whole disassociative disorder thing..)

And if THAT is true, then what is the source of Hulk's strength? If he's just a shapeshifter, then Banner in theory has access to the same source of strength. If Banner ever got his head together completely, just how dangerous COULD he be?

The fugitive scenario -- Banner's able to change his appearance, which could explain how subconsciously he's been able to evade people with flimsy disguises if his body is unconsciously helping to disguise him.

Hulk does 'poop' as Trooper put it, see Ultimate Wolverine V Hulk.

As for Hulk destroying the toilet when he pisses...

How long can the Hulk sleep for before reverting to Banner. Can The Hulk sleep? We know he can lose conciousness. Does he dream as The Hulk or while he's the Hulk does he dream that he's banner. Can he have green gooey dreams? LOL

doesn't the hulk just change back to banner whenever he falls asleep? i thought he only stayed the hulk when angry

somtimes he does,it depends on the incarnation.Hulk doesnt have to sleep,he doesnt tire.Bruce and hulk are not the same people,if you notice,EVERYONE in comics is defined,even prof x has olympic calves and he never uses them so go figure.

As for hulks bodily functions,i dont think its possible for his urinary tract to be that strong to break through the toilet but he can propel spit at high rates so mabey it could get strong enough to hurt somone.Hulk green dreams would be possible but hes to old for that i think and him dreaming would most likly result in him reverting to banner depending on the incarnation.

Hulk and Bruce ARE the same person.

Yes, I realize every artist tends to draw buff heroic people.. it's called imagination.. trying to explain WHY something, rather than take it at face value. A No Prize essentially.

Regardless, if they're not the same person, then the whole beard question above is invalidated.

There's been plenty of examples when the Hulk HAS been tired and slept. Defenders, Sentry, etc.
