This thread is by popular request! :)

Symbolism in SV is ubiquitous. Religious and spiritual metaphors often share the same stage with general references to the Superman mythos. Here are a few images to start us off. These don't require any explanation...

That is a very cleaver shot by them, the lighting is perfect.

Actually, that's one thing the show does very consistantly well: the lighting.

My hubby is a lighting designer so I notice these things...

I think Memoria is proabably one of the better examples of how well the DP lights the show.

What do you guys use to print screen? I know I can press the print screen on my keyboard but it doesnt work to capture from a DIVX.

Thanks dude :)

Here are some more, not sure if they count but anyways:

Here's one thats a little tough to see in this cap from "Prodigal". I'm not home so I cant cap it myself maybe someone else can grab a better one, however if you look closely you should see it. Interesting choice of farm tool they gave Lex no?

Quicktime Pro

You can use Quicktime Pro to screen cap?

Mmmm... I have that and never tried that. How do you do that?

here's another one from "Perry" they seem to like the use of the bright light coming into the darkness. The beer sign off to the side makes it a bit humorous..

I dont have it here at work to tell you you exactly how to do it, but I believe there's a "save frame" or "export frame" option that allows you to do it.

I have Power DVD at home which allows you to cap, my computer at work has Intervideo DVD and that doesn't do that....

thought this one was another good example. Check out the fire plus that face on the wall above it. From "Precipice"

I cant exactly find the picture but in the episode Stray could possibly be a picture. When he punches through the garbage truck and recues ryan in the light

Neat thread! I feel like I have to go back and look at all the caps so I can contribute now.
Can I just add that I think Clark looks angelic in almost all his scenes? :D

Btw.. spoilers for the Finale are up on K-site...

I'm impressed I hadn't noticed alot of these.
