So, either Matt or BlackMagic, did either of you buy the DLC for this? Either the standalone pack or the season pass? I was curious about how big the new Adventure Map was. The one in the regular game is ****ing huge. I love Adventure Mode.

I haven't done the DLC. I plan to, but haven't yet. I haven't even gotten through what was in the game to begin with. I'll deal with DLC after.

Hyrule Warriors will receive an update later this month that will add Amiibo compatibility to the game.

Hyrule Warriors will receive an update later this month that will add Amiibo compatibility to the game, Nintendo said this afternoon.

Following the update, you’ll be able to use the Link Amiibo figurine to unlock the Spinner item from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess within the game. Additionally, other Amiibos will be compatible with the game as well, but will only be used to unlock materials or Rupees.

Nintendo also announced that another paid DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, this time featuring content from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, will be available in November as well.

Tap the Link Amiibo for the "Spinner" weapon.

Hyrule Warriors will be updated with Amiibo compatibility later this month, Nintendo announced.
Tapping the Link Amiibo on the GamePad will unlock the “Spinner” weapon, which was a useful item in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and serves as a great tool for smashing enemies in Hyrule Warriors.
Scanning in other Amiibo have various effects, as well. Every Amiibo compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is also compatible with Hyrule Warriors. Scanning one in will grant palyers a randomly selected material, weapon, or rupee.
Hyrule Warriors’ The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess add-on pack will be available simultaneously alongside the Amiibo update.

That trailer reminded me just how creepy Majora's Mask was. I remember it being so, but it was quite a shock at the time following OOT. A hope it does well here, I always thought it was a shame that it did such weak business comparative to other Zelda games. It's such a cool and unique entry into the franchise.

Between this and GTA V's new first person mood, this has been one hell of a week in announcements.

Koei Tecmo Games said tapping the Zelda amiibo on the Wii U gamepad unlocks a weapon too, but they didn’t specify the weapon players will get.

Earlier today, Nintendo revealed the Link amiibo unlocks the Spinner weapon from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for use in Hyrule Warriors. Koei Tecmo Games said tapping the Zelda amiibo on the Wii U gamepad unlocks a weapon too, but they didn’t specify the weapon players will get.

The Zelda amiibo along with Pit, Luigi, and Captain Falcon are part of wave 2 which will be available in stores in December.

A first person Zelda... which Miyamoto actually considered. The final product was Ocarina of Time.

They are punishing the wrong region if so. Europe sells are worse than NA.
