Galaxy is another one that should have had at least Classic Controller as an option. There's some disconnect in my mind when using the Wiimote and Nunchuck. I just feel clunky when I use it.

I'm glad to see people like Skyward Sword. I kept hearing/reading people complaining about it. It was a fun game, and my second favorite of the series. (First being Twilight Princess)

It is my 4th favorite Zelda game behind time, twilight, link to the past. The story wasn't has good has some of the other Zelda games and the boss fights where to repetitive but all the Zelda games are just about classic. I thought the motion controls where good and cool the only problem I had with the motion controls where that when I started getting far into the game my controller keept wigging out on me. I would not be pushing any thing and link would start running to the left like I was telling him to or I would be trying to go to the right and link would start going to the left. I got a new controller and it wasn't has bad but still dose it form time to time and it dose it on other games to. I don't know if it is a problem with my wii sinser bar or if the wii its self is having issues or a little of both.

I'd say my favorite Zelda titles are...

1.) Majora's Mask
2.) OoT
3.) ALTtP/Between Worlds
4.) Links Awakening
5.) Wind Waker
6.) TP
7.) LoZ: OoA/Seasons
8.) The Legend of Zelda
9.) Skyward Sword (mostly due to the controls. I loathed the motion)
10.) Adventures of Link

Games flow in that order.. but even then I don't think any of them are bad. At all. Better than most games, but if I have to pick favorites.. Well.. There they are.

I'm not sure which would be my favorite, but I can say the original is my least favorite easily. I don't know if I really look at Majora's Mask and Adventures of Link in the same kind of bracket. They are Zelda branded games and all, but they are both so radically different from the others they feel like their own thing.

Wouldn't you put Links Awakening with them too then? I mean I guess that it's still more traditional than MM and AoL.. but still. Pretty sure the guy who was the lead on MM was also the lead on LA.

As different as they are they still feel like Zelda games to me, lol. I agree about the original.. I only don't have it last due to nostalgia and it introducing me to the world.

Link's Awakening felt pretty traditional to me. I wasn't talking so much about the people involved, but more so how they play. Zelda II's gameplay is totally different than any other Zelda. Majora's Mask gameplay is about usual for a 3D Zelda, but the structure and story of the game is so radically different than any other Zelda game.

Zelda II holds a fond place in my heart.

Yeah, I honestly really enjoy Zelda II for what it is.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Will Make It Easier To Track Quests. January 13, 2015 . 11:01am

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will have an improved Bomber’s Notebook says series producer Eiji Aonuma.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will have an improved Bomber’s Notebook, series producer Eiji Aonuma has revealed to GamesMaster magazine. (Thanks, Nintendo Everything)

“We were told by Mr. Miyamoto that he felt there were a lot of users who finished the original without even noticing all the hidden events scattered around the town,” Aonuma said to the magazine. “He said that he wanted us to make sure users were more aware of them this time around.”

The Bomber’s Notebook is an item given to Link during the course of the game and helps keep track of the game’s quests. In the 3DS version of Majora’s Mask, Aonuma says, it will use both screens and “act more like an electronic notebook that leads players to these hidden events”.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will be released this Spring.

Link's Awakening was my first Zelda game ever. It'll probably always be my favorite for that reason alone. Every time I play it I feel like I'm 8 years old with my game boy again.

Link the past was my first Zelda game. I don't know how old I was but if I had to guess I would say like 8.

I think it was my first Zelda too as my first Nintendo system was the Game Boy Color.

Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Link's Awakening are interchangeably my favorite.

Another bit of Zelda news that got overlooked was that if you pre-order Codename: S.T.E.A.M at Gamestop you will get what looked like a metallic Majora's Mask pin as a bonus.

Here’s What Else Is In Hyrule Warriors’ Majora’s Mask DLC Pack. January 16, 2015 . 5:02am
Young Link needs both hands to swing his sword around; however, once he puts on the Fierce Deity’s Mask, it’s a whole other story.

To commemorate the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, we’ll get a new DLC for Hyrule Warriors, featuring Younk Link and Tingle as playable characters, and more. Here’s a look at what else is included in the pack.

The DLC pack adds Young Link, who not only fights with his sword, but can also use the the Fierce Deity’s Mask and its destructive powers. Meanwhile, the 35-year-old man who thinks he was reborn as a fairy, Tingle, will also be joining the battle.

Young Link needs both hands to swing his sword around; however, once he puts on the Fierce Deity’s Mask, it’s a whole other story, as he transforms and gains incredible power. His offensive power goes beyond anything imaginable, and can obliterate all enemies around him.

The forest fairies-obsessed 35-year-old Tingle is finally getting some Hyrule Warriors action, and he’ll float around his balloon and land on foes to blow them away. He has all kinds of unpredictable movements to go with evasive attacks.

The DLC pack’s new Adventure Mode map will take place on Termina. While adventuring in the world where the moon is about to crash, you’ll use a mysterious item card as you advance through the Adventure.

There will also be various new rank weapons as rewards, and special costumes as well.

the DLC pack also adds costumes from a set called “Memories of time”. They’re based on an Ocarina of Time motif, and there’s one for Lana, Impa, and Sheik.

Young Link and Tingle will also be available for 500 yen each, along with the Adventure Mode map for 500 yen, and the Memories of Time costumes for 200 yen.

The Majora’s Mask DLC Pack will release in Japan on January 29, 2015 for 1,200 yen, and will release in the West on February 5th.

Hyrule-Warriors_01-16-15.jpg
Nintendo has fully detailed the contents of the Hyrule Warriors ‘Majora’s Mask Pack’ downloadable content, as well as the latest update, following its announcement earlier this week.
Version 1.5.0 of Hyrule Warriors, due out day and date with the ‘Majora’s Mask Pack’ add-on, will add the following new features:

  • Maximum level increased
  • New mixing materials
  • New medals
  • New weapon skills
  • Updated Junk Store – “Skills Cancellation,” “Skills Advice,” and “Weapons Sale” added
  • Updated Adventure Mode information screen – “Damage Taken” and “Retry from the Beginning” added
The ‘Majora’s Mask Pack’ downloadable content will cost $7.99 / 1,200 yen and include the following new content:

  • New character: Young Link (available standalone for 500 yen) – A boy able to use the power of the demon’s mask. He fights nimbly and heroically with his sword. When wearing the demon’s mask, he takes its shape and his attacks are strengthened. This power is beyond human understanding, and he will not stop attacking until all of his enemies are destroyed.
  • New character: Tingle (available standalone for 500 yen) – A 35 year-old bachelor and the reincarnation of a fairy. He uses a balloon to freely jump around the battlefield and blow away enemies. His ability to do things like dodge and attack at the same time make him hard to predict and a force to be reckoned with.
  • New Adventure Mode map: Termina Map (available standalone for 500 yen) – In a world where the moon falls moment by moment, you can make free use of mysterious item cards that hold new powers while advancing through your adventure. As a new reward, you can earn some new rank weapons, as well as costumes.
  • New costumes: “Memories of Time” (available standalone for 200 yen) – Three costumes: “Skull Kid Style” for Lana, and “Ocarina of Time Style” costumes for Impa and Shiek.
The update and ‘Majora’s Mask Pack’ add-on will launch on January 29 in Japan and February 5 for the rest of us.
