I'm pretty pleased that Bailey won it. I called it months ago, I feel good about that.

The sox need a bat desperately. Bay is the most inconsistent slugger Ive ever seen, and if he leaves...we're screwed.

If he leaves, they'll get Matt Holliday. Which would be better for them anyway since they wouldn't be subtracting from any of their other areas.

I don't like the move. At least not for what is rumored in regards to chips that are being discussed.

I agree they do need a bat though. If they don't end up with a Bay or Holliday, I can see them picking up a player like Dye for a year.

Mets will be better. The kind of season they had where half the payroll was on the DL doesn't happen all the time. Marlins usually play better than anyone expects.
