They should started Lee yesterday, then give CJ the ball tonight!

I hate Hunter :cmad:
I dont understand stuff like this...yes Tommy screwed up...but even if we started Lee...We didnt score one single run...so we would have lost anyway. That wasnt the issue...our bats were.

Rangers can't win a World Series: Ask again later

one away.

dunno if i would prefer them to finish it tomorrow or finish it at home.

Selfishly...i'd want them to get to 6 so they can win at home. That would be absolutely EPIC.

But then again, i'd rather we clinch it ASAP. Can't take any chances letting Texas back into this series.

2002 still haunts me.

This has been on repeat for me ALL DAY...so freakin' hyped!! :woot:

Didn't the White Sox use that in 2005? I remember Jerry/Ocelot loved it.

2007 called. They want their team unity song parody back.

Yeah...um as a Bay Area resident, it actually has more to do with the fact that Steve Perry is a hardcore Giants fan and that they always play this song at AT&T Park.

But whatever.

I know why it's being used, although it doesnt change the fact that it's A) Not even sung by Steve Perry, and B) the song has been horrificly overplayed the past 3 years.

Also it's not like there arent a TON of other great musical acts from the Bay Area to choose from. Grateful Dead, Metallica, Santana, Counting Crows, CCR, Green Day, Huey Lewis, etc.

Knew this was coming. Tonight may be just as bad.

Regular-season football beats World Series baseball in overnight ratings

Posted by Mike Florio on November 1, 2010 10:28 AM ET

On the occasions when NFL football has found itself pitted against World Series baseball in the past, baseball's championship round always has won.

Until Sunday night.

Darren Rovell of CNBC reports that the overnight ratings for Sunday night reflect a victory by football over baseball.

The Saints-Steelers game on NBC generated an 11.8. The pivotal fourth game of the Fall Classic managed a 10.4.

We'll explain what the numbers mean once the final numbers are out. Bottom line? If the pinnacle of the baseball season can't beat a run-of-the-mill midseason football game, there can be no doubt that football is the new American pastime.

Huey Lewis? No thanks, unless he sings Back in Time or Power of Love, the only two songs of his I like.

Is Grateful Dead still performing without Jerry Garcia?

If Lee fails tonight to win like game 1, do the Rangers fans want him back for the 6 years 125 million?

i would not trade tim lincecum for any other pitcher in the mlb.

My prediction is that the first team too score takes game 5.
