I was just thinking...if the marlins offered uggla and Hanley for linecum or Cain...would the giants bite?

Yes, because the Marlins are all about handing out 100 million+ contracts.

Having lee and Cain in rotation will get asses in seats. Won't happen...but just imagine ESPN reaction.

"first lebron, bosh, wade in Miami...now lee and Cain joining JJ for the marlins.

The Marlins don't care about getting fans in the seats, they care about keeping their payroll as low as possible to keep cashing those luxury tax checks.

Why in the world would the Giants trade BOTH of their best pitchers for only 2 players, one of which will be 31 and can't field in a defensive position.

If that dream rotation is happening, it'll be in San Francisco.

I mean, if you're not playing in reality, then why don't they just get Lincecum for Wes Helms and Halladay for Burke Badenhop? Either of which is more likely than Lee signing a three year deal with the Marlins.

Congrats to the Giants! They played their asses off.

Even as a Yankees fan, it's nice to see some diversity in the WS. The Yankees will always be baseball's best team, so it's nice to see some underdogs win sometimes.
