Australia is now going to be airing four 24 episodes per week. It just started airing not long ago and they're advertising that we'll be through the whole fifth season in just four weeks.

Apparently, us Aussies love it so much and the studio just had to air four episodes a week.

This is awesome. No long waits like Lost and Smallville.

After what Henderson did all season, people still question this? He sat next to his wife while she was shot, he was ready to kill Jack on the sub, he wouldn't even blink if he had to kill the daughter. Especially if they already escaped once.

Eighteen months after faking his own death, Jack Bauer is forced to return to Los Angeles when it becomes apparent that the only four people who know he is still alive are being systemically targeted for assassination. The assassinations coincide with the signing of an anti-terrorism treaty between Russia and the U.S., leading Jack to suspect a link between the assassinations, the treaty, and a group of Russian terrorists. But as events slowly unfold it becomes apparent that the day's horrific events were originally set in motion by someone within our country's own administration - an individual with the power and resources to thwart Jack's every move.

It's no surprise that Fox would release the fifth season of 24 on December 5; the previous 2 sets have come out the first week in December. The 7 disc set will include all 24 episodes of the show (1012 mins), tons of commentary tracks, as well as insightful featurettes on the 5th season of the Emmy award-winning series. Of course the set will feature Anamorphic Widecreen (1.78:1) video, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, Spanish Dolby Surround, and spanish subtitles.
