What do you mean you "can't believe" ? Just like last year with GOTG, DOFP and Winter Solider these films were so close reception wise it just comes down to personal preference.

Cinemascore:
AOU: A
Kingsman: B+
Ant-Man: A

RT Critic
AOU: 74% 6.7 rating
Kingsman: 74% 6.7 rating
Ant-Man : 79% 6.8 rating

RT Audience
AOU: 87%
Kingsman: 85%
Ant-Man: 90%

These films were all received very similar. None of them had a big advantage over the other.

Interesting stuff, but in that case why doesn't Ant Man have more votes compared to the other 2?

I won't vote yet since I've only seen two of these.

I loved Ant-Man and thought AOU was mediocre, especially when compared to TA.

I plan on watching Kingsman eventually but you couldn't pay me to sit through FF.

Just depends on the forum imo, any of these could sway the lead. Though this board and other fans sites probably side with the hardcore violence and vulgar attitude in Kingsman more so then critics and the GA.

While I enjoyed all three, I preferred AOU and Kingsman to Ant-Man. I'm sure there are some who prefer Kingsman and Ant-Man but enjoyed all three as well. Just no right answer. Could be argued that Ant-Man was the leader with reception but it's just so close overall. While I understand having a personal preference, not being able to understand that most people enjoyed all three is strange to me.

Well it just surprises me because many people found AOU to be disappointing, where as many were surprised at how good Ant Man was.

I don't think people just voted for Kingsman because of the violence either, it was a genuinely good movie and for me one of the most fun times I had had in the cinema for a long time.

I meant that it's a turn off to some of the audiences and critics. The adult material and style is just not for everyone. Not saying that people here are only voting cause of those things. It's a great film overall to me.

It was received pretty positive on these boards and the rest of the world. The few who were extremely disappointed to the point they didn't like the film are few and far between. It didn't get trashed or anything, it was just coming off of one of the highest rated and highest grossing comic films of all time. Expectations were very high.

The drop in box office says alot about how much people enjoyed AOU.

It just didn't tickle the inner-fanboy in all of us the way Avengers did.

Avengers made grump old people want to wear Iron Man shirts and read comics. AOU feels like a typical blockbuster by comparison.

It's not just a vocal minority who feels this way.

It made 1.4 billion and got as good of reviews and audience scores as these other films. Box office drop or not it didn't crash or hugely disappoint audiences overall. It just didn't impress like the first film did. Doesn't mean people suddenly hate it. I just don't get that way of thinking here.

People thought ROTJ was a disappointment compared to ESB, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't rate it higher then other films. Just compared to the other in the series it wasn't their favorite.

Avenger films are kind of in another league then other films due to the scale and cast of characters. There's alot of entertainment there regardless if it wasn't as good as the first.

The poll here on SHH was pretty strong, with mostly 9,8 and 10's. http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=497707

...and it's on alot of SHH members top 5. Along with the Cinemascores, reviews etc I'm not sure where a few people are coming up with this very negative view of the film outside of their own personal opinion on the film itself. Again, disappointing when compared to the extreme reaction/lightning in a bottle effect of the first I can understand. But I just have not seen enough proof at all to act shocked that the vast majority of people still enjoyed it. I don't get that logic when scores and polls across the board say it's good.

I really can't say there is great comic book film of 2015.

never cared to see ant-man.

didn't care much from age of ultron

while i liked FF better than some i can't call it a great comic book film

I really enjoyed Ant Man, more than AOU which had more problems, were as AM was just a really fun movie.

Kingsman is one of the best movies of the year I highly recommend it.

Snap. I much preferred Ant-Man over AOU.

I still haven't seen Kingsman yet, but judging by all the positive feedback I've heard, it's probably better than AOU, too.

Ant Man was just so much fun, and it had the emotion and heart AOU lacked for me. The action was also brilliantly inventive and the best of the origin solo movies for me.

Kingsman is just superb all around, I highly recommend it, only Fury Road has bettered it so far this year for me.

So far, Kingsman for me. I had so much fun watching it and it's still my favorite movie this year.

I have yet to see Ant-Man and am looking forward to it.

I actually want to switch my vote to AntMan I feel like it's been a while and I now realize how much I really love that film.

Watch Kingsman asap, literally from the opening credits onwards I knew I would love the movie.

^ I was the exact opposite... I didn't even like the opening credits!

It's between AoU and K:SS since I haven't seen the other two yet. While AoU more or less fell flat for me, I still liked it a darn sight better than K:SS.

Wow, no offence but you are the first person I have come across who totally disliked it. I can understand certain aspects being disliked but the movie was just so damn fun any flaws were not major for me. Oh well to each his own!

Kingsman is absolutely wonderful, anyone here who hasn't seen it needs to do so immediately.
