I decided to see what the mask would look like without covering the nose and with a more subtle eyebrow. Also added the D's and played with the color while I was at it.

Great work! That with the DD logo in the middle would be perfect.

I edited your manip to have the logo in the middle, and toyed with making the torso section all red. No sure which I prefer to be honest - I think the black adds something to the design.

Nice job. I did kind of went back and forth on the symbol placement and the black sections. But my focus was getting the eyes and nose right and I like the contrast the black brings. Really either version is good, as I said in other threads, I love costume it just that nose and eyes the bugs me. Small change goes a long way.

I love the bottom right. To me, that's about as good as you're going to get.

That being said, the reason for the nose makes perfect sense to me. I think it can be tweaked slightly, but there are significant practical reasons why it's not going to change.

Those are really cool. Always glad to see what can be done with classic covers (although, in 168, Daredevil was holding someone and looking up in surprise, this looks more like they're fighting). I always wish the studios did things like this (I'm looking at you DOFP ). The second one does a good job of downplaying the black in a way that works well, imo.
