To celebrate his 66th birthday, David Bowie has decided to release a new single with an upcoming album to follow. Saying that, let's celebrate Major Tom, Ziggy Stardust, Aladin Sane, Halloween Jack, The Thin White Duke and the constantly changing genius that is known as David Bowie.

Ah, I was wondering if he'd actually release another album or not. I think I remember him saying he wanted to, but wasn't sure where to go (plus his last two were definitely some of his lesser releases, I would say). But it's good to see we'll get something. I look forward to it.

No tour announcement as of now, I'm really hoping to see him live sometime.

Bowie's producer Tony Visconti says his very adamant he won't tour again or perform live again. His asked him and Bowie has said no.

Danny Boyle flew to New York to beg Bowie to sing at the London Olympics last year and he wouldn't do it. I think his heart attack really messed him up or scared him into not wanting to perform live again or tour.

So, what are everyone's favorite Bowie albums? Mine are:

1. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust (what else?)
2. Low
3. Heroes
4. Hunky Dory
5. Station to Station
6. The Man Who Sold the World
7. Aladdin Sane
8. Diamond Dogs
9. Young Americans
10. Let's Dance

Well lo those are my favorite 10 as well! Thank you for the magic dance Karem:hrt:

Can't say I'm that huge of a Bowie fan I just like his 80's hits like China Girl, Modern Love and of course this cute little gem here:

There was an update on this news, Visconti had to say that he won't tour for this new album specifically. Who knows what that might mean for him touring in general but I won't get my hopes up.

"The Next Day" Bowie's new album is now Number One on iTunes in 21 countries around the globe, according to the star's official Facebook page.

Aladdin Sane, Young Americans and Low are my favorite Bowie albums.
