If you HAD to choose, get Captain America. That is Brubaker's masterpiece. Hands down. But like i said, his DD is quite good as well. His Cap run is definitely worth the hype though.

Allright that settles it then. I'll be getting his Cap stuff, while waiting for Ultimate collection on Bendis. :)

I'm glad they're re-collecting the bendis stuff like this because even though that Huge omnibus is tempting, its way too big and expensive for my tastes. I think thats the book that got me back into comics about 5-6 years ago.

Shadowland comes! The only thing I worry about is that it kinda makes it seem like DD is going villain on us...

Yeah thats worrying me as well. Daredevil has been my favorite marvel book for years consistently, I hope Diggle is planning on taking DD too far. I've been enjoying Murdock's journey into darkness but only because i know that at the end of the day Murdock will rise above it all somehow. But from what Diggle is hinting at in the interviews, it really sounds like DD is going to is going to be plunging himself fully into the dark side. I hope it isnt true, I dont wanna see DD become the Punisher. I hope Diggle knows what he's doing.

I don't think DD is going full on villain, but he has butted heads with guys like Cage and Iron Fist over the past few years (regarding his ID being made public).

Well, i doubt he's going full on villain, but my worry is that he'll start entering Punisher territory and start murdering people. Diggle is saying that DD does something major in Shadowland that he'll have to live with for the rest of his life. That seems to indicate that DD may finally cross that line. I would hate to see DD give in to the darkness like that. Although, in all honesty, after everything he's been through, who could blame him really?

He might kill just one person, not go on a killing spree. It could even be Bullseye, I think he was on the promo piece for Shadowland. The a**hole should've been wiped out in SIEGE if you ask me.

Daredevil has been on the brink for years now.But I don't want him to kill anyone. It's a line he shouldn't cross as he's always overcome adversity.I didn't like it when it was implied he killed Master Izo but thankfully he didn't.B ut who knows maybe dealing with the hand changes him.I find it weird Elektra hasn't shown up yet.

Yeah thats how i feel as well, DD has always been on the brink but he's never given in to it. I like how DD is willing to go further than most heroes in terms of brutality (carving the bulleseye into Bulleseye's head, permanently paralyzing the Owl), but I'd rather he didnt cross that line into murder. If Matt murders, then his relationship with the rest of the MU will never be the same, his friends like Spiderman, Luke cage and Ironfist will never see him as the same person.

It's not like Matt hasn't killed before.

Of course, the big difference in Shadowland will likely be how he's driven to kill. Either way, I doubt if Matt does indeed kill Bullseye it will result in a Punisher-style Daredevil, killing any and all of his opponents on a whim. Once this storyline concludes, it will probably just be another plot point that future writers can use for Daredevil to reflect back on and lament over; character building more than anything else.

Anyway, I don't really know how I'd feel if Matt offs Bullseye. I think I'm mostly against it right now simply because it's too obvious. Everything in the solicits is screaming, "Daredevil kills Bullseye!" so for that reason alone I'd like the final page to be something a bit more unexpected. On the other hand, though, even though I love Bullseye as a chief foil to DD, I've never been as upset by a comic as when he killed Karen Page. It'd be nice in that sense to see him finally get what was coming to him.

Okay first off, where is that page from MWF? lol.

Second, i feel like if any baddie deserves to die in the MU its Bullseye. The guy is pure evil incarnate and has no regard for human life. But even with that said, having DD cross that line even with Bullseye is major. As much as Bullseye deserves it, i'm not sure how i'd feel if DD actually does it. Besides, the thing is, we all know that even if DD does kill him, the next writer is just gonna bring him back somehow and then what will have been the point of it really? Thats why Batman will never kill the Joker, even if one writer decides to kill him, the next writer will bring him back because what fun is Batman without the Joker. Same with DD, he's no fun without Bullseye.

Yeah guys, DD has killed before. He killed the people that killed his dad. It's even mentioned in Brubaker's run.:o

Okay first off, where is that page from MWF? lol.

Daredevil #233, the final issue of Miller's "Born Again" arc.

And while I'm against Bullseye getting killed off for many of the same reasons you are, kguillou, if it does indeed happen, I'll give it a chance before crying foul. Again, I was pretty miffed when Smith initially killed Karen, but Bendis successfully mined that well for nearly his entire run, and Brubaker got a fair amount of mileage out of it as well. I also seem to recall a lot of readers being upset by Matt's outing as DD, believing it would result in the book suffering, but it's arguably been one of the better plot developments in Daredevil's long and storied run.

So while I'm hoping against it for a number of reasons, I won't write Bullseye getting killed off as a bad idea right away. Not to imply that you are, by the way.

Oh yeah, im with you on that MWF. Again, Bullseye is one of the few villains that i feel actually deserves to die a cold cold death. BUT, I'm just not sure I'm ready to see DD be the one dishing it out. Who knows, maybe when it actually happens, it will be written so well that I wont mind. I mean if you told me a few years ago that DD would be leading the Hand, i would cry foul. But Brubaker wrote the hell out of that story so much that i cheered when DD took command of the Hand. Its all about execution (so to speak).

Bullseye's an evil ****, maybe he'll do something to finally put DD over the edge.
