Could anyone post scans of the clone saga montage where Peter finds out Raptor is after Ben Reilly (WITH dialogue, not the preview version) from Amazing Spider-Man annual #36? I still haven't gotten my copy, but I want to make a follow-up youtube video to my revelations video from a couple years ago (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evQUVYtyNJc). That one focused on Ben's death, this one will focus on Peter's memories of him. Thanks in advance!
I would, but i don't have a plug to my scanner. :csad:

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL #36!!!!!!!!!!!
The Ben Reilly Saga CONTINUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who says that that was really Ben, besides 'Raptor?
It could've been Kaine?
Just tryin to ruin Ben's name and reputation?

Tom D is my kinda writer. When he was EIC of Marvel was when I started readin', and when I fell in love with the company. I can only hope my writin' one day attains a comparison compliment.

^^ I love Tom's attitude, honestly. First, his work was/is great on Spdier-GIrl, now the Ben Reily mini-series.

Man, I wouldn't mind getting that issue with Kaine but $4 for one story is a bit much. Eh, maybe if it's a slow week.

It's not one story. It's going to have two stories. The Spider-Man original universe story and the second feature story will be Spider-Girl.

Yeah but I've never read Spider-Girl so I don't really care about it. I wouldn't buy her own issue so I don't care to really buy it now... so in essence, I'm only paying for the Kaine story, which isn't worth $4 for me.

I wasn't planning on buying any of this Clone stuff until I knew its outcome, but I was at the comic shop yesterday and decided to skim the annual. Nothing made me change my mind until I came accross the part where Peter's remembering Ben and I was sucked in. I still thought I'd put it back and may buy it later depending on how the clone thing ends but then I realized it was their last copy. I could have them hold it in my folder but I'd feel bad holding onto it for months and months... so I've bought it. Haven't read it yet, but I guess I'm going to go ahead and give this Clone thing a shot.

One this is for certain though... if they screw Ben up, I will never give this book another shot for as long as things are how they are. They've screwed up everythign I love about Spider-Man. The Clone Saga remains the only thing in his past that I love that they've not touched. They screw it up now and I'm done.

Spider-Girl is what Spidey was and what should always be. Plus it's something that EMBRACES it's Clone Saga origins.

Oh I know I'd like it but it started during a time when I was financially strapped. Then it went along so far and I couldn't afford to get caught up that I just never started. Now she has so much history I just don't feel like jumping in and trying to figure it all out. One of these days when I come accross tons and tons of money I plan on getting caught up on her book, but until then I just don't plan on bothering.

The digests are fairly cheap and collect a buncha issues per. Besides, there wasn't much continuity to follow on until now with her own clone running around. But, before then, any issue coulda been jumped in and, except for some non-detracting finer points, woulda been easy to follow. Like I said, it's the Spidey of yesteryear, where they made sure each issue caught readers up to prior events.

the digests are quite cheap thats what ?I have been getting although I have the 1st ten issues from back then - number 1 worth anything???

Here ya go. I'm probably a bit late, but I hope this helps. :)

I would just like to add to that conversation about Spider-Girl, and that is that I really love how they make here like Peter. She makes wisecracks, etc.

Was anyone else a little bothered by the use of the Scarlet Spider/Spider-Man picture which clearly has the bottom of the Spider-Man logo in the shot? Just me?

Hey thanks, Styleshift!

Guys, check out the previews for the October books!

It seems every single title has something to do with the clone saga! We have Kaine coming back in 'Web', the 'Who was Ben Reilly?' arc (which may or may not herald the return of our favorite clone) and the second issue of the 'Clone Saga' mini which has a gorgeous cover.

love the 608 cover myself

ooooh it says return of kaine - so thats 5 marvel books im getting that month up from zero

The 608 cover is very Hobgoblin inspired. Glad you're picking up the books again. Marvel is listening to the Ben Reilly fans for once, so they deserve kudos for that. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at their last creative summit. Personally I think Steve Wacker is the man to thank for all this, so maybe people should drop him an email.

EDIT: Whoa! Just noticed what you probably already saw on the 608 cover. That the Spidey is split between the Peter costume and the Ben costume. That is cool...

As I said in the comics section, these look and sound awesome. Adi Granov truly kicks ass.
