Also, the Techno-Mancers story line with Dr. Strange, Ben's soul was givin to Pete.
ooooooooo whts tht never heard of tht

Where is that picture from? Was that concept art for the Ultimate clone saga? The ben looks very Bagleyish and he's wearing Spider-Woman's costume![]()
Yeah, I liked Ultimate Spider-Woman's costume, thought it would make a perfect Scarlet Spider outfit, so it inspired me to draw this and I gave it the title "back in scarlet".
So nothing official, just made by me.
And Ben's head is a scan from Amazing Spider-Man, so yes, it's Bagley.
Here's a challenge and I dare anyone to take me up on it.... ;-)
A list of all the postmortem references Ben has had in the Spider-Books since 'Revelations.'
Anything ranging from a fleeting mention to a caption (like the latest Sensational) to Peter giving him a homage like taking up his ID in Friendly. The big and the small. It doesn't have to be Pete doing the referencing either. Jimmy-6, Mary Jane, Norman Osborn and others have all brought him up I believe. Clone jokes or references to that "clone thing" don't count. They have to be about Ben.
If we all bring our own recollections to the table we can probably come up with a pretty solid list.
).It was a 3-parter Sensational arc. Interesting story... when I was a young'un in the late 90's I bugged Dezago through e-mail with a bunch of questions and one of the things I asked him was if that was meant to be Ben's soul at the end that flies into him. He said yes, it was, and he would have made that part clearer except Marvel editorial told him not to. They wanted it to be left ambigious, in case they wanted to bring Ben back one day.
now that would come completely from left fieldedit: how rediculous would it be if the three scarlets were Ben, Kaine, and Spidercide? it'd never happen but dayuuum

I have a feeling that the three guys in the Scarlet Spider suits are just three regular guys in Scarlet Spider suits, heh.
We aren't going to ever see Scarlet Spider, Kaine, or Spidercide again. If it's the Clone Saga, it must be ignored. Marvel's rules, not mine. If it were up to me Ben Reilly would still be the one true Spider-Man and Peter Parker/MJ/Baby May would have lived happily ever after.
But blame the overbearing "I think I know everything about comics" Spider-Man fans for not having that.![]()

, Jason Todd came back, and even Uncle Ben came back. Bringing those characters back put both companies under a lot more heat than a Ben Reilly return would. Even clone saga haters would have to be intrigued and curious enough to purchase the issues just to see what would happen. We probably won't ever see Spidercide again because he represents everything that was wrong about the clone saga but I wouldn't say that it's out of the question to see Reilly or Kaine back at some point. Even JQ acknowledges that a Reilly return would "sell like crazy" and that it would have to be done right. Also there's been at least one clone saga reference every two months for the last year or so (this month it's an issue of Sensational, i believe). Knowing Marvel, they've consciously ignored the Clone Saga for SOOOO LOOOONG that the fact that they're bringing it up so often must also be a conscious decision.
). A Reilly return is one instance where it would. This thread (I don't see any "Official Winter Soldier Threads" anywhere on the hype) and countless clone-saga devoted sites are a testament to that.Well...Norman came back, Bucky came back, Aunt May came backcmad

Besides, Marvel's in the business of making money and not pleasing fanboys (unless those two things happen to cross paths). A Reilly return is one instance where it would.
