I know that you said you had every Spider-Man comic but i'm wondering if you (or anyone) has scans to the lone issue of Daredevil that Ben Reilly appears in. One of the only Ben Reilly appearances I've never read.

Another Scarlet Spider sighting in the latest Sensational! I don't think it'll play into the story and Scarlet does look kinda wonky, but between this and the "Marvel Zombies" thing, it's pretty cool anyway. I just wish they had the Ben Reilly uniform in that cell too.

OOOOOOOooooooo, a poster named "Venom-Symbiote" posted this in the bringbackben board. I'll copy what he wrote:

For those of you unfamiliar with [Civil War: Battle Damage Report], it's basically a collective of info on everyone involved in the Civil War, with about a half-page blurb on each person.

At the end, however, is a 3-page list of characters who are "of interest". A few of the ones I thought were interesting were "Toxin (potential recruit)", "Kaine (Enemy Combatant)", "Scream (Enemy Combatant)", and "Namora (Reportedly Deceased)".

I found these interesting for a few reasons; 1) Kaine. Nuff Said. 2) It shows Marvel is willing to possibly bring back some older characters (to the best of my knowledge, Scream was last seen in 1999).

Here's the thing that gets me. With the status of "Reportedly Deceased", the fact that Kaine's in there, and the Scarlet Spider mentioned in Thunderbolts 111 (which, I know, COULD have been a typo for Steel Spider... *crosses fingers*), our beloved Ben isn't on the list. At least, I couldn't find him. Tried "Scarlet Spider", "Ben Reilly", "Spider-Man", and "Reilly, Ben", but nothing. This made me... a little sad, to say the least.


Anyway, could you IMAGINE the reaction if he were on there, with his status as "Reportedly Deceased?"

Kaine!!!!!! That sounds freaking sweeeeeeet!!!! It's awesome that he's "of interest" and could be coming back at some point! SWWEEEET!! I need to see some scans of "Battle Damage Report" to see what's up, but i am happy that Marvel at least uttered Kaine's name again.

I would love to read a story about Kaine returning. He was definately one of the more interesting characters in the Clone Saga. Hopefully this isn't a red herring (sp?).

everyone keeps sayin bout this, but if they are on the run he would give false details no? I havnt read the issue, it probably is a a huge cock up by jms, fitzgerald i his mothers maiden name though

Kaine in thunderbolts would be cool though, I'd love to see him go for norman, as long as they don't kill him or paralyse him or anything

It's actually an error on JMS' part. It happens when he's talking with MJ one-on-one and says that because Fitzgerald is her maiden name, they should list her as that in the hospital. He also says this is because the probably even have birth certificates under that name and such.

I know quite a few fans who won't let him forget it, that's for sure. I think that if JMS was better with continuity, his stories could be great. I actually think he's an awesome Spidey writer, it's just that he has some bad ideas sometimes.
