"Do you think the Jackal is a good villain and any chance of seeing him return?

Not a huge Jackal fan, but he may return anyway. "- steve wacker

Hmm, perhaps I was speaking too soon, because I was thinking and I came up with another theory after reading NA#31:

What if it turns out Peter is a skrull, and the real Peter is going to be in New Warriors, now they can retcon The Other...

Yeah its pretty far out, but speculating is fun.

Another theory, Ben Reilly didn't actually die,

The Ben who died was a SKRULL!

Alright I'm sorry, I'm just getting ridiculous now... :spidey:

Whoa. That's actually pretty interesting news. If they bring back Jackal they are basically going to have to acknowledge the Clone Saga because The Jackal is BASICALLY the Clone Saga villain.

Hmm, maybe Marvel is finally coming to it's senses and going to realize that you cannot run away from the Clone Saga. It will NEVER GO AWAY!!!

WRONG The Jackal was a pawn of the real mastermind of The Clone Saga....

NORMAN OSBORN / THE GREEN GOBLIN .

Let's forget Norman Osborn was even revived so he could participate in a Clone Saga that had nothing to do with him for the most part, shall we?

Sigh...you misunderstand me.

The Jackal. Miles Warren.

If you remember.

He is the one who CLONED Peter Parker in the first place and the one responsible for CREATING all the clones. He is a Clone Saga villain. I didn't say he was the mastermind. I didn't say that he was the know all and say all. I just said he was basically a clone saga villain. And bringing him back into regular Spider-Man continuity, which I would like to see that since Jackal took a nose dive off of a skyscraper, would be acknowledging the Clone Saga...again.

I mean you're talking to a guy who has the entire Clone Saga in chronological order and written lists of the order of continuity. So, you know...

^ that still dosent mean that they wernt also the main villians of the clone saga

Oh yes it does , If you read that issue you'll learn just how much Osborn was involed from since Amazing Spider-Man #129 the first appearence of The Jackal .

Retcons are a really shaky way to prove any villain's "necessity" or "involvement" in a plot. Just saying.

involvment dosent mean anything man. they were still main villans even thougn norman was the guy behind them all they were stil villans

Ok you know how in BATMAN BEGINS there were three villians

1. Ra's al Ghul

2. Carmine Falcone

3. The Scarecrow

And by The End of The movie we find out Falcone & Crane were just pawns to the real Mastermind Ra's Al Ghul .

Well that's the same way it Osborn involment in the whole Clone saga arc (The Worst spiderman storyarc ever created .) The only good thing that came out of that load of pure Bull**** was Ben Reilly / The Scarlet Spider

im not disputing that though. the way your talking about osbourne your making out beacuse he was the maste rmidn behind it that the other people involved wernt villans when the clearly are.

Ah forget let's get back on topic of this thread

Jackal already came back.

As a generic un-modified villain in 'Daredevil/Punisher' a couple years back.

And no, the clone-saga wasn't mentioned.

Even if the Jackal does come back (again) don't get your hopes up that it'll have anything to do with the clone saga.

But really, the only thing that could get me excited is if Wacker said either Kaine or Reilly might return. The Jackal's humor was so bad it made me cringe and his plots were convoluted messes that resulted in crap like "Maximum Clonage." I much preferred the very beginning and the end of the clone-saga to the gooey, confusing Jackal-orientated middle.
