Also, I'm not sure if its been said yet, but I fear that the Who Was Ben Reilly arc will be a rehash of the Lost Years where Ben was framed for murder by Kaine (pre degeneration). Which would explain why Kaine is back in the comics. That would be most lame.

This is beautiful. I don't recognize this cover artist, but he (or she) is effin' awesome (and so is the colorist for that matter). But was the cover for issue 3 ever released? I just remember 2 and 1.

Those are very nice pages. Both books.

When it comes to the limited series coming up I wish they could have gotten some of the artists that were actually around during the original Clone Saga. Tom Lyle, Romita Jr., Sal Buscema, etc. That would have really put a cherry on top for me. Though the artist they have is just fine. I am just trying to be picky.

Well, Bags is at DC, Buscema does mostly finishes on Spider-Girl these days, Romita's on 100 other projects, and dunno what happened to Lyle.

I think Lyle left comics to pursue graphic-design work. I haven't seen a comic drawn by Tom Lyle since 1998 I think (he drew some Spidey-Venom one-shot where V got amnesia. It was terrible).

That's cool. I was actually wondering what happened to him. He was a really good artist and loved his work on the adjectiveless Spider-Man book.

Can I use expletives to express how cool Kaine is? Just this one time, Hype? Okay, I'll refrain.... but Kaine is cooler than the Fonzie in an igloo. I am geekin' out over this! t: Is this happening in the middle of the "Who is Ben Reilly" arc? Then that kinda backs up someone else who theorized it was Kaine who burnt down Raptor's house plus family, not Ben Reilly.

But gotta say... what's with Spidey's ditko eyes in that pic? Is he squinting cuz Kaine is choking him, or is this artist just all about the fingernail-moon eyes?

Bloody awesome. I hope I'm not nitpicking when I say I hope Kaine gets back into his costume, though. He could also use a shave - really not fond of the hobo look. But he's back! Both in Web and ASM. What a golden age we live in.

I am however highly disappointed the MARVEL SPOTLIGHT featuring Summer Events didn't contain the Clone Saga article it was supposed to. But I guess with all the cool interviews the creative team has been doing online, who cares?

Anyone know the specific date THE CLONE SAGA #1 hits?
