Could this returning character be Ben Reilly? Probably just Queintin Beck, but who else could it be?

Y'know I haven't always loved this mini (in fact, I really didn't like issue 2 and 3), but it is really awesome to see Peter and Ben just having a fun conversation and bonding like brothers. I think that's what I miss most about the clone saga. They have a great chemistry. So maybe this mini will have a stronger end, just like the real clone saga.

And oh snap! Please don't let that Mongrain witch steal MJ's baby again!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I really hope this mini shows a happier ending, with Ben staying alive and MJ having her baby safe and sound.

I completely agree. I never really wanted Ben to be alone as Spider-Man, but I did love the relationship. Very few characters benefit from "older brothers" or anything like that. Peter has never really even had male friend to confide in. Harry was always crazy and he never really knew Peter's identity.

I think thats why a lot of people kinda like the dynamic of the New Avengers early on.

Well after just reading the new issue I got one question. [blackout]Do you think Ben will survive this? Judging by the glider strike on the last page I'd say that he could considering that the blade pierced his lower back instead of his chest like before. I have no medical knowledge but aslong as the blade didn't sever his spine shouldn't he have enough time to get away and get to a hospital?[/blackout]

Who knows. I'd love to see Ben survive this thing, but it looks like the last issue will be Peter vs. Norman just like the last issue of the original Clone Saga.

I have yet to pick up this comic book, mainly because the comic shop i go to hasn't been able to keep up with the demand. However my question, from what I'm reading just in the last page right now, it seems this mini-series is ending just like the clone saga did?

Wasn't this meant to be the original story line for the clone saga before all the "********" was put into it?
