She certainly wants the role, lol.

She was cute as Honey Lemon in Big Hero 6 but she's awful in that Time After Time show that just started airing.

What makes you guys think catwoman will be a minority? Didn't we try that with Halle Berry? I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if they go that direction.

Would Emily Beecham make a good Poison Ivy?

I've mostly seen her work on Into the Badlands and enjoy what I saw of her. She seems to be able to handle action sequences, can pull of being cunning and merciless and is not much older than Margot Robbie

Would it be too far fetched to make Poison Ivy green in the DCEU?

I would be cool with racebending Ivy. Especially with a black woman. Considering the typecasting and lack of representation of black women in cinema over the course of history, think it would be very progressive for WB to select a black woman to play a symbol of beauty and sexuality like Ivy.

Honestly who would be bothered by this? There shouldn't be any issues as long as Ivy has her signature red hair that contrasts so beautifully with her green suit.

I feel the same way about Catwoman. Rosario Dawson would be my first choice for Catwoman if she wasn't in the Netflix Marvel shows.

I say yes. Poison Ivy should be able to blend into society. The green skin works in the comics but it's unbelievable for the movies.

Why do characters in superhero movies need to look believable? Was Killer Croc believable looking in Suicide Squad? Was Mystique believable looking in X-Men? Was Dr. Manhatten believable looking in Watchmen?
If someone can't accept a green Poison Ivy then maybe superhero movies aren't really meant for them.

I'll tell you why. One of Poison Ivy's main abilities is the seduction. Can you imagine how conspicuous it would be if you're a wealthy businessman and this green woman comes up to you at a party trying to kiss you or blow some dust in your face? Plus as soon as Poison Ivy makes her first public appearance, all of Gotham will know to stay away from the green lady.

The green skin is unnecessary, even though it looks cool in the comics.

I'm down for it if they can make it work though.

Give her chameleon abilities. She normally appears green but can change her appearance to look like a sexy looking Black woman.

I think Poison Ivy should have a pale/slightly green complexion. I don't think it needs to be as green as the hulk though.

I misread the title as being directed by David Goyer and I almost slit my wrist.

No way they're gonna rush this out after doing that to Ayer the first time around. Harley needs to be in SS2, otherwise what's really the appeal of the film? The first film was a borderline disaster creatively, and you're gonna take the best aspect of it away?

Stephanie Hunt has her cd coming out next month with Megan Mullally. With this not likely to fil to next spring I think she wil be more known then for the Catwoman role.

The Domino casting makes me think even more for a Stephanie Hunt cast as Catwoman. She can sing also and do the stunts. At least though the Catwoman will likely be a minority also.

That was what 20 years ago. With them saying Batman isn't in this or the way they have now even more than one minority in a movie now I think Catwoman will be of color. Stephanie Hunt is very well known from her time on Friday Night Lights. She could really do well promoting at those comic con shows.

But add her with my Catwoman cast and it will be great. But I think Stephanie will be the one they get mostly to promote the moie.

Are you her agent?

She would be perfect and help ensure that Ivy isnt just a sex object.

My pitch for GCS:

Harley Quinn: Margot Robbie - Poison Ivy: Lea Seydoux - Catwoman: Emily Blunt
Katana: Karen Fukuhara - Black Mask: Cristoph Waltz/Andy Garcia
Cluemaster: Andrew Scott - Stephanie Brown: Anna Sophia Robb
Det. Montoya: Melissa Fumero - Det. Bullock: Rainn Wilson

Cameos: Jared Leto as The Joker, J.K. Simmons as Com. Gordon, Rami Malek as Nightwing

Since breaking Harley out of prison at the end of Suicide Squad, The Joker has returned to Gotham to reclaim his criminal empire, only to find much of his territory being taken over by new rival the Black Mask. Meanwhile, back in Belle Reeve, Amanda Waller sends Katana after Harley to bring her back, dead or alive.

We see that now that Joker has his “second half” back, he is no longer quite so interested in having her, but this is of course unnoticed by Harley, especially when he entrusts her with the task of taking out Black Mask. To do this, she contacts her old friends and partners in crime: Poison Ivy and Catwoman, both with their own personal grudges against the new kingpin. They begin cutting a violent path through the Mask’s operation, drawing the attention of both Katana and the GCPD.

Black Mask proves hard to find, so the Sirens instead target his second in command, Cluemaster by kidnapping his daughter, Stephanie Brown. However, Cluemaster gets taken down by The Batman, forcing the trio to break him out. Using Stephanie to manipulate the thief, they head towards Black Mask’s base in Bludhaven, though Catwoman’s qualms about the whole situation continue to grow.

In Bludhaven, Katana finally catches up with Harley. After a brief fight, though, they convince her to help them stop Black Mask and head off. All forces converge on the Black Mask’s base in an epic shootout. The fight is interrupted by Nightwing, who was called in by Catwoman to save Stephanie. As the dust clears, The Joker abandons Harley as the police arrive, allowing Katana to drag her, Ivy, and Cluemaster to Belle Reeve.

Post Credits

-Amanda Waller welcomes the new recruits with a hint at the Squad's next big mission.

-Nightwing contemplates training the now parentless Stephanie when he is contacted by Oracle

DCEU Ramifications: The film directly sets up the events of Suicide Squad 2 and The Batman. The Squad recieves two new members and Harley & Katana recieve good development to prep for the sequel. Meanwhile, several major new players are introduced to prep for The Batman: Montoya & Bullock, Nightwing, Stephanie Brown, Catwoman and Black Mask, as well as starting off the Mask/Joker gang war and teasing Oracle.

Obviously the Whedon/Batgirl news throws a kink into this, unless it's a prequel. Which I'm still holding out for, because I'd much rather have Babs as Oracle and Stephanie and/or Cass in costume.

Hmm I keep wondering if the Joker will actually be in GCS.

He almost has to be, in some regard, unless they jump right into them being split up again.

Joker will probably get mentioned once in a while, maybe even recycle some of the footage from Suicide Squad, but there is a good possibility that as
unhappy as he was with what was done with him in Suicide Squad, Jared Leto will have no actual role in it.
