Official: Gotham City Sirens directed by David Ayer - Part 1

In this day and age, body isn't even a priority so long as they have workout regimens.

And you know, actual acting ability. That's important to.

I wouldn't mind to see Grace Gealey as the Cat

I usually like long hair on women, but the sleekness of a short black haircut works really well with Catwoman.

This is the Selina I've taken a liking to:

Even though I didn't like the look of the "Ratwoman" design for the Catwoman costume I largely would like to see a Selina Kyle that resembles this onscreen if possible.

Something about the art of the first one makes me picture a woman who's had way too much plastic surgery.

I'm assuming Tim Sale hadn't completely come into his own when he drew Selina in Long Halloween but improved on it in Dark Victory

Because it's basically this in comic form:

Too much surgery indeed.

It's a style. It's how he draws women. It's certainly better than J Scott Campbells elongated women.

Pfeiffer's Selina is easily my favorite, but I'm not judging appearance by whether they specifically look like her. I want someone who I find hot and appropriately sleek while also able to play the role. It's hard to even narrow it down to a list of favorites because there's a number of actresses I'd be happy with (I'd definitely pleased with Natalie Dormer, though), and others I'd be optimistic about even if I don't know their acting well, if at all, but there's also plenty of room for disappointment.

I'm still all about Evan Rachel Wood for Ivy.

I am all about Evan Rachel Wood for Ivy, especially after West World. And she's close to Margot's age, so that's good for the Harley/Ivy romance, which I still have bets on will be at least hinted at.

C'mon. Poison Ivy right there!

For Selina Kyle, I don't really care who, but I'd prefer a woman of color (just for the fact that the other two of the three will 100% be white) and someone no younger than 35 since Bruce is older in these films.

Riley Keough would play a good Poison Ivy.

I'd have no complaints about Riley; she was very good in The Girlfriend Experience, and she's beautiful (something I care about with Selina and Ivy, more so than just about anyone DC). I really don't want to put much weight on this sort of speculation, though. There were actors rumored to be starring in Inhumans because they said this or followed that on Twitter, and then nothing came of it.

I'm going to put more weight on this.

There've been a ton of actresses doing self promotion on social media during the last week for Batgirl, and it's kinda worked, I guess, as far as getting some people talking a little outside of social media (kudos to the energy of Lindsey Morgan and her friends. They have been wallpapering the internet promoting her for Barbara Gordon, and yesterday I actually saw an article at CBR which called her the frontrunner).

Riley Keough has a way more impressive portfolio than any of the ingenues I've seen putting their name out for Batgirl.
Golden Globe and Independent Spirit nominations. And a big one- Mad Max: Fury Road, a Warner project (WB loves to go back to artists who have been in successful projects there).
She doesn't need to put her name out there like this- why would she want to possibly embarrass herself when her career is going very nicely? In fact, I would say that there are many parallels to where she's at right now and where Margot Robbie was before Suicide Squad.

I'm kinda thinkin' Riley Keough is Pamela Isley

Keough would'a been a pretty good Harley, actually.

She's great in The Girlfriend Experience.

Keough would make an awesome Ivy. I watched the whole of THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE based off a single viewing of the trailer which grabbed my interest immediately.

Fantastic series.

I still prefer Keough for Batgirl tho.

I really feel like DC/Warner Bros. would be better served amalgamating this concept with the Suicide Squad sequel, Batgirl, and even Nightwing. You can have Harley and Joker at large, with Batgirl and Nightwing trying to track them down at the same time as Task Force X and kill four birds with one stone. That way they could hopefully clear some room in their schedule for some non-Batman movies, shut up the critics who criticise them for only making Batman-centric movies, and expand the DCEU even further.

It could be like a more connected sub-universe of the DCEU. Would be cool with me.

Either that or she's the most passionate.

She's not the only one. Bryce Dallas Howard also wants the role, and she posted this:

It's sad that that film is apparently the popular representation of the character for the general public. Much like how it convinced the GP that Bane was a mindless brute.

Hope for the best. Maybe it'll change the perceptions.

With this twitter activity among very accomplished actresses, I think that we can safely assume that a casting announcement for Ivy is near.

A part of me feels like this movie should just be scrapped in favor of a Mad Love/Batman: Harley Quinn adaption.
