Official: Gotham City Sirens directed by David Ayer - Part 1

Eiza Gonzalez is Catwoman.

I just want ya'll to make peace with it, cause its the goddamn truth. I already made peace with it myself.

Whoever becomes Catwoman has some serious competition from earlier versions -

Paula Patton would be an awful Catwoman. I'm still in the Gugu Mbatha-Raw boat.

Pardon me but who is Gugu Mbatha-Raw?

Mostly an up-and-comer. Showed up in the last season of Black Mirror where she was half of a great duo. That's probably her best known role thus far.

I thought she was pretty good in a movie called Belle a few years ago.

She'll show up in the next Cloverfield movie.

She was great in Black Mirror and a lot of other things she has been in. She also has this sleek, femme fatale vibe with a sense of fun that Selina does.

There is no Megan. Why do you keep mentioning her? Megan Fox is not involved with this project. What about that isn't sinking in?

And that is Michelle Pfeiffer. She gave a timeless and iconic performance

Michelle played a great character but she wasn't really Catwoman. To be honest Michelle's Catwoman had about as much in common with the comic books Catwoman as Halle Berry's Catwoman did.
Like her or not, Anne Hathaway gave the most comic books like performance of Catwoman since Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt. Camren Bicondova is really nailing the role too. Only problem is she is
too young for the movies and they generally avoid casting TV stars in movies.

Even if Anne's version had the thief angle and Michelle's didn't, the latter still managed to feel more like the comics than the former for me. Anne's performance has always been "meh" to me so it doesn't even matter that she was "more comic accurate."

I'm a fan of Catwoman first and foremost because of Michelle, so it's not of concern to me how much she is or isn't like the comics.

I'm sorry but for me it's just so clear. Michelle's performance was electric and iconic, Anne just got the job done. She was great, but she wasn't born for the role like Michelle was.

Michelle's Catwoman is up there with the more iconic performances in the genre

Only one of those is good enough to be considered serious competition. :cwink:

Those member berries sure are quite strong and nostalgia is one heck of a drug :sly: lol

I like both portrayals and Halle's Catwoman is a guilty pleasure of mine :gngl:

Halle wasn't Selina Kyle so i wouldn't even consider that as Catwoman movie tbh.

Michelle gave a great performance, just not a great CATWOMAN performance. And that's mostly the script/Tim Burton's fault. Same with Danny DeVito as not-Penguin.

For me, it's Anne>Michelle.

Just don't let it be another Wonder Woman type movie. But Margot is more in charge on this now so I can say we are safe.

What the hell are you even talking about? First you delude yourself into believing Megan Fox is Poison Ivy and now you're presuming Wonder Woman is a bad movie before it's even released? Man...:funny:

What about Lee Meriwether, too?

To each their own but I've always found that Michelle was so lively in the role and so energetic. She didn't embody all of the Catwoman elements that we've come to know so well in the comics but she still managed to be memorable and electric. Anne was just there: she was dull and mostly lifeless. Anne left a lot to be desired (for me, anyway) and I walked away from TDKR wishing Bale had better to work with.

You're starting to become a bit of a troll

Stephanie Hunt is a virtual unknown with little acting experience. She's gorgeous but not going to get the role. I want someone older with a bit more acting experience.

You either have an obsession with Ms Hunt, or you know her, or you are her. To be this gung ho about an unknown is suspect.

I think we can all mostly agree that Ms Hunt is very attractive but I don't think catwoman is right for her.

For someone Bens age, Charlize would be perfect. I would love for it to go to Rosario Dawson but her Marvel connection probably puts her out of the running. Paula Patton is another fun idea.

I think I want someone unexpected and fresh for the role. Ruth Negga is a great actress that is on the cusp of a career making performance, I think Catwoman could be it.

6 trailers and not a single minority has said a word in them.I noticed those 2 girls that's was rumored to be in the New mutants last year finally came out and said they are in it.Megan is all that has been rumored cast. They won't spend a bunch on a support Catwoman so Stephanie Hunt is the best cast to get cheap.

Who gives a ****?
