Official: Gotham City Sirens directed by David Ayer - Part 1

5'7" apparently
Brie definitely has the bod, but pulling a Scar-Jo seems rather eh
She would certainly be shorter than Margot

Eiza Gonzalez is 5'8", and looks like Catwoman in the face, and has the body.

Back when Alison Brie was on Community and Mad Men, she was my fancast for Harley. It would be ridiculous to express dissatisfaction with Margot Robbie, but I still think Brie would have been definitive.
Kind of like I love Amy Adams, but think that Mary Elizabeth Winstead would have been the definitive, iconic Lois Lane.

She's too young to play Selina to Affleck's Bruce (although I certainly wouldn't be opposed to her getting a different DC film role).

Alison Brie is hot as ****, but I can't really see her as Catwoman. Don't know why.

I wouldn't be able to take her seriously. Not only would she look ridiculously young next to Ben Affleck, but I can't see her trying to be seductive without adding an inappropriately humorous or ironic twist to it or coming across like she's trying too hard.

She fit well when she was dating John Hamm's character in Baby Driver. I can't see there being a problem having her with Affleck... Especially when the latter is older than the former.

Exactly. I'm sure she's a cool person and I like her, but in "serious" projects like Mad Men she comes off as a kid playing dress-up.

If Flashpoint does reset the universe (and I mean IF) de-ageing Batman by 10-15 years then they could go with a younger Catwoman.

I disagree, that pairing didn't really work for me. Also I'm tired of the double-standard that Hollywood keeps pushing. There's no reason why Selina cannot be a bit older to.

Also part of the fun of going with the "older Batman" idea is that you can bring in a lot of the lore/mythos, including him and Selina having lots of history together. But not if she's some 2--something year old bombshell.

I would've chosen Mila Kunis for Lois, she would've been a lot like the DCAU Lois

I can't take her seriously either. She's not only not that good, but she'll always be Meg Griffin.

:funny:

I feel the same way, I used to watch her on That 70s Show so it's always been hard for me to take her seriously. Add to that she's Meg Griffin and it makes it even harder.

I feel like Amy Adams wasn't the best choice though. She just doesn't have that feisty edge that Lois should have. She's an amazing actress though

I completely disagree, I think she's damn near perfect for Lois.

Adams is a very good actress, but I agree, not a good fit for Lois to me either. Admittedly the writing for her character has been pretty bad but she hasn't been that great either, sometimes you just don't fit a role even if you are a good actor/actress.

She doesn't have the edge because her character is written as blandly as possible.

Adams does well with whatever she's given but she just was not written feisty enough.

That's how I feel about it. Amy Adams is a better actress than Erica Durance, but Durance just works much better

Everybody wants to be Catwoman. And of course Margot Robbie will be Harley Quinn again.
But any hints who might be Poison Ivy? I mean have any actors been angling for the role?

I thought this movie was kinda cancelled? It wasn't on the slate presented at SDCC, it kinda just vanished like the Cyborg movie...Altough Cyborg never had any talent officially announced unlike this one.
