Official: Gotham City Sirens directed by David Ayer - Part 1

She fit well when she was dating John Hamm's character in Baby Driver. I can't see there being a problem having her with Affleck... Especially when the latter is older than the former.

Affleck and Hamm both look way older than they are and off-puttingly haggard. She was supposed to be young trophy girlfriend in BDriver but for Affleck she will just be too young looking. A lovely actress but that'd be a horrible pairing

Also why would it be so hard to cast an actress who's at least in her mid-30's? Do we really need to go late 20's? Especially since having an older Batman means that you can do the "he and Selina have lots of history" thing (that we haven't seen on-film before either). But only if she's a bit older.

Cast her as Zatanna, Jessica Cruz, etc.

I think everything is still on until someone from the studio officially says it isn't. Just because we don't hear much about a Booster Gold movie anymore doesn't mean it's off the table.

Actually she has her eyes on Zatanna. She even liked or posted a tweet celebrating some anniversary of Zatanna in DC Comics. I posted the pic on the JL: Dark topic.

Adams is a very good actress, but I agree, not a good fit for Lois to me either. Admittedly the writing for her character has been pretty bad but she hasn't been that great either, sometimes you just don't fit a role even if you are a good actor/actress.

Agreed on all the above. This is not a shortcoming on her part as we all know she is a top actress (and a very likeable one), but not the perfect fit for Lois for me. Still way better than Bosworth or Kidder to me though.

Really wonder what's happening with this movie. Honestly, it feels like Warner bros are having some issues with a few of these undated properties. I'm honestly shocked that they've only got 1 movie lined up for 2018 since this is quite a few years into their dceu already

At one time there was a story that Killer Frost would replace Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad 2 because Robbie was going to be busy making Gotham City Sirens.
Perhaps this may still be the case but the sources haven't gotten the memo and so Robbie may just be doing GCS and now HQ&J.

Charlize Theron is my choice for Selina at the moment, though Pike would make a great Poison Ivy. Theron, Robbie, and Pike would be a pretty good trio imo.

Rumors and speculation continue to spread this week about the future of Warner Bros.' DC Comics adaptations. I addressed the rumors yesterday in an article here at Forbes, and today I've got additional information to share that debunks a persistent rumor making the rounds on many sites. When word of a Harley-Joker Mad Love type movie project surfaced, some outlets claimed it was possibly taking the place of David Ayer's Gotham City Sirens project on the DCEU slate. Today, several outlets are running stories asserting Gotham City Sirens is cancelled and that Mad Love (as I'm going to refer to the Harley-Joker project for now) is indeed the "replacement" project.

Well, you can safely ignore those stories, because I've confirmed Gotham City Sirens is still in development. Here is what I was told by a Warner insider:


Harley, Catwoman and Poison Ivy are super important to us-- And a super cool team, too!
The all-female superhero/anti-hero Gotham City SirensR team-up project is very different in terms of concept and the role it plays in the larger DCEU, not to mention nuances of target demographics and character development, compared to Mad Love. So there has been no shift of the concept or project to replace it with a criminal love story featuring Harley Quinn and the Joker.

Charlize is mine too. Though I disagree about Pike for Ivy. I would pick someone closer to Margot's age. Like Evan Rachel Wood, Natalie Dormer, or Alexandra Breckenridge.

Idk about you guys, but I get the distinct feeling that we're never going to see Letoker or Hardly Quinn in this universe again.
