:hehe: See I'm sure I was told about it before, just couldn't find the right place to find the info. :D

Hey, Knaves where did you find that Deadpool animation? I've been searching around and can't find it.

...Or is it a secret?:cwink:

What where the avvy is from? It's Hulk vs Wolverine. I just downloaded the film and made some gifs out of it.

I didn't think is was out yet. Nice, I'll be checking that out this weekend.

Is that why the costume he bought in that German novelty shop had "Die Spinne" on the back?
I never knew that Die Spinne was on the back. I never read the Spidey/Wolverine story (I'm ashamed, as its so central to the Hobgoblin story:o )
Oh-and HELL NO Wade was never Hobgoblin! The only legit Hobgoblins were Rodderick Kingsley & Jason Macendale, w/Flash Thompson & Ned Leeds being unfortunate patsies.

Thank you! I'm not the only one that considers Kingsley and Macendale to be the real Hobgoblins. And lets face it, Macendale was only the Hobgoblin because Kingsley let him be. I consider him to be the Hobgoblin only because he wore the costume for so long.

Deadpool as Hobgoblin?.....Thats hard to believe. I doubt Wade could keep his mouth shut long enough to be taken seriously as the Hobgoblin.

Even if he did wear the costume, that doesn't make him Hobgoblin. Then again, in my eyes, Mac Gargan isn't Venom.

I wont see Venom as Venom until they draw him right again. The eye within an eye thing bugs me.

From issue no. 35, volume 1, Dec. 1998. Written By Christopher Priest. Art by Paco Diaz and Andy Smith.

Deadpool was recruited into the Frightful Four, ended up in the wrong warehouse and became the Hobgoblin for about four pages. Attacking an airport before being called back via the Wizard to join the Frightful Four fully. Working with the Frightful Four, even beating the new recruits (Taskmaster and the Constrictor) and the Wizard, without hesitation. Of course, the Thing and Franklin Richards both took out said version of Frightful Four, without issue.

In the words of the box: "Let's just say my stint as one of the hobgoblin's decoys was short-lived..."

It was cool for Spawn but it just isnt right for Venom. He had his own distinctive look, why copy another character?

Spawn makes it look good.

Gargan? I hate him.

At least when he's trying to be Venom.

So Marvel truly is the House of (Recycled) Ideas!

This is the true symbiote look and it will never be improved on;

No, Demogoblin. Marvel doesn't resurrect long-dead sidekicks as villains, switch villains' identities around or kill off major characters as publicity stunts.
Nevermind.

Or turn back the clock for twenty years worth of issues 'cause the editorial board misses "the good ole days."

This is the true symbiote look and it will never be improved on;
The black costume will never go out of style.

I think Gargan worked as Venom in ThunderBolts and New Ways To Die, etc, but I still don't think he should have been Venom in the first place.

In regards to Scorpion Venom, he doesnt seem like a new character. He never came into his own. He's the Scorpion, wearing the symbiote. Scorpion was a gun for hire, kind of a loser that needed team mates. Now he's working with the Thunderbolts, rounding up unregistered heroes against his will. Nothing has been added. He just doesnt have Brock's blind rage and single minded obsession with Spider-Man. In a simple sort of way, its good entertainment. Thats all that the original Venom had going for him as a character, but its more than Scorpion Venom's got.

Making the Venom identity interchangeable gives the character even less appeal for me.
While we're at it, let's burn off half of Johnathan Crane's face & make him Two-Face, huh?

I just hope his character gets developed better, cause he's got B-list powers, with the symbiote increasing his already potent scorpion powers. Not to mention the symbiote having many, many years of experience to boot.

Thats true. At least Norman and Harry still had different personalities as the Green Goblin. Norman would have killed everyone Peter knows and then ****** on their graves. Harry only hated Peter.

See, there's that. And Norman felt he was the Green Goblin. Harry felt he had to be the Goblin. In any case, they each brought unique qualities to the identity, & in both cases a psychologically compelling conflict. Peter initially didn't want to hurt Norman b/c Norman was his best friend's father, whereas he didn't want to hurt Harry b/c Harry was his best friend.
