The villain figures for Spider-Man 1 and 2 were excellent. I have two variations of Doc Ock. Superb detail. Same as on the Goblin there.

You have a pic of the statue that broke on you? I don't know many that get put on a plastic stand. Was the statue itself plastic, too?

I can have my brother download a pic later. Thats too technological for me. The statue was ceramic, maybe. Flimsy material anyway.

On another note, I got a decorative plate showing AF 15 from Mom years ago. It also broke. :csad: Again, it was on a flimsy, piece of **** stand. It broke my heart to see it break. I was able to glue it back together but it doesnt look right. :csad:

Who did this one?

Sorry, I dont know. I got it online and the only name I could find was in the pics lower corner. Someone named Hector. Doesnt help much.

Ok, since Demogoblin is so technologically challenged (:oldrazz:), he's asked me to post the pics of his Goblin stuff:

^^ Cool stuff! Also, rarely do I see people keep their comics in a binder. I think I've only seen it once or twice before. I find it to be awesome! I keep mine in comic boxes though.

I like to display my stuff and binders are a safer (albeit more expensive) way to do so.

And thank you, Doc.

You can see on the statue's leg facing you that a tear is right below the knee. Between that and the fact that big gobs of glue are used to keep it stuck to the glider, you have an engineering disaster. :o

One nice thing about Dark Reign is all of the new Goblin art.

Its not Dark Reign but even Spider-Girl is getting in on the Goblin action.

Wait...

^^ I love those covers. It's too bad Spider-Girl is being cancelled. It's such a great book. However, that's for another thread.

You're welcome!

Yeah, I noticed the crack on his right leg there. What kind of glue did you use? Super glue is always the most effective, IMO. It's not thick grungy stuff, and it seals up any cracks so you hardly noticed them.

It's repaired a thing or two in my merchandise.

I never bothered gluing the statue back together because the base was just four little sheets of plastic held together by tape. You can see part of it in the top right corner of the last pic. Not a bad idea with the super glue. I might give it a try but I still couldnt display it. I've run out of space in my little room.

BTW, can anyone enlarge this image?

Ok I wanted to scan a classic moment from the Green Goblin saga. Now the death of Gwen is way too obvious, so I chose a scene which was just as pivotal: When Peter learned who the Green Goblin really was.

And from that moment on, Parker was owned. :woot:

Prior to this, had any supervillain impacted a hero's personal life? I think GG was the first to actually cross that line.

Red Skull killing Bucky. Or was it Baron Zemo? But besides that, I dont think so.

Not the same, though. Bucky was a sidekick-not a friend from Steve's civilian life or anything like that-killed on the job. Add to this the fact that he actually sacrificed himself. It's not like he died Jason Todd style.

But didnt it also have the same effect on Cap? I really dont know, I'm just playing devils advocate.

SImilar, but again, it was on the job. I guess I meant that no villain had ever invaded the hero's personal life like that before.

I see. Yeah, you're right, I dont think any other got into the hero's personal life like that previously.

Has there ever been a Goblin story called 'How green is your Goblin'?

Close. There was one called "How Green Was My Goblin?" It was ASM 39.

If future movie Goblins look this good, I'd be very happy. The face looks a little like the metallic Goblin mask from part one, so I think this is a good addition to a new look.

I would love to see that too. If they can make this;

They can do the Green Goblin.

One is supposed to be disfigured as the result of a series of bizarre experiments. The other is supposed to be a guy wearing a mask that he can pull on & off as easily as Spider-Man does.

Maybe, but Junior looks like he's wearing a Goblin mask. They tend to change a lot of realism to enhance the movie experience. Like in a spy move, where they take off the mask they obviously were not wearing. It's been done dozens of times.

Spider-man's mask has been altered to make it look better onscreen too.
