Well, the short answer, I believe is that they try too hard to either point out the similarities between the real thing and the franchise, or they make them so different that they don't even seem like a franchise. With Green/Hobs, sure, they are there, but it's very hard to confuse the two: it's like Coke and Cherry Coke.

So what did everyone think of American Son? I cant say that I have much of an impression of it either way. It seemed that the whole arc was made up of filler issues that led nowhere. Norman is the father of Lilly's baby and Harry wants nothing to do with the Osborns any more. This does make me more interested in Harry. Much as I loved the love/hate relationship he had with his father, it was played out. Why resurrect the character to tell the same old stories? I'm curious to see where he goes from here.

Was it me or did Lilly seem nervous as Norman was talking to thier unborn child? I wonder if the child is a girl instead of a boy, as Norman seems to expect. Does Norman not think that a girl could be his "Little Emperor" as he expects the child to be?

The pics are pushing the line, yes. But they arent showing nipples or other body parts, so they stay. Trust me, I've deleted many nipples in my day.

This is how he should have looked. I understand why his company would make a glider suit, but once he became insane why not have him wear a corny costume.

I was ok with it, but I think they should've gone all out for Harry's costume. This was a man on a mission of vengeance, using the tools of his father to exact said vengeance. There was no need to look conservative.

and would catch Peter off guard being attacked by someone he thought was dead.
Then Harry finally reveals that its him, wearing the Goblin armor to honor his father and to stick it to Peter.

Which was how I wanted it. THe retracting goggles didn't have the same impact.
