It's because they parts they redesigned (The abs and the legs) are not shown. Also, he has the jetpack and new equipment. I, for one, think that cannon he is holding is BADASS.

One of those posters list some sectors that have no known GL. Of the ones that we do know, Kilowog is from sector 674, Salak is from sector 1418, Bzzd is from sector 2261, Hal Jordan is from sector 2814, and Amanita is from sector 3100.

Not really. In the comics, yes, but in the movie, the ring and it's powers(which includes the suit) are organic and almost symbiotic. More than likely, the further out the dark green parts are, the blacker it'll look.

This isn't just some fabric spacesuit we're talking about here.

The costume is actually a naturally very dark green/black colour, it just glows bright green in some areas. Which achieves the same look as the comic costume, it just doesn't look like a fabric costume like it does in the comics.

It's actually a more accurate representation of what it is in the comics; a construct of the ring.

I applaud the costume for actually taking measures to resemble the comic.

I am looking at Sentinel Prime and i cant believe how overdesigned he is. How are they doing this? It seems so complex and hard to do.

I was saying that it makes more sense in the movie. I just think the busts with the black bits on their suits look better than the toys and such where it's a darker green. And not just because the sculpts are better.

As we know, it has not been a gilded few years for films with the word 'green' in the title. Unless you want to call Empire Online for the first time saying don't bet against Green Lantern bucking the trend of films with the word "Green" in the title being a flop nothing new.
