Oh god, i remember the scene from Secret Origins where Hal made a Kilowog construct to beat Atrocitus if i remember correctly. It was such an awesome moment.

Yeah!

If we see Hal or Sinestro create a construct of the big poozer Kilowog in a fight, that would pretty much make the movie for me! :word:

:hehe::hal:

You know, it's a shame, the music they used for the Russian FC trailr would have been a great fit for the GL trailer.

Anything without a guitar riff would've been better. lol

i think some of you may be misunderstanding what i was saying. what's the last superhero film that had a generation of kids trying to emulate the hero?
How many little kids do you know?

I don't know, rashad, "Green Lanter" is about a test pilot as much as it is a space opera, and since the film "Top Gun" was released, rock music has been associated with warfighters and test pilots. The song Highway to the Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins was a rock song that was tied to the film "Top Gun" and was number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 that year after the release of the film. I wouldn't knock the use of rock music (especially duing flying scenes) in this film.

It looks like KidsWB and DCBeyond have put up a free online game titled "Green Lanter: Emerald Adventures". It has a 3d feel to it and plays like Epic Mickey. You have to gain experience points and use them to purchase constructs. In stead of going to a store to do this you have to find a station to uplink to Oa and download the construct. Meanwhile you navigate through a mapped terrain or in space while fighting enemy drones and androids. It's a little fun and might bide your time while you wait for some more news on all things Green Lantern.

POTC4 trailer is out. its times they realese the GL trailer he he he

But it's about about the execution and it didn't work for me. Now I'm not against using rock riffs or pop tunes in trailers because if it's done well, it can be magical. Like Watchmen's and X-Men First Class's teasers. If they were going to use a rock riff, I think they could have used something better.

Your comment is something altogether different from what rashad said. His comment was that "anything" with a guitar riff was going to be bad, which I proved was not the case.

I'm not sure you "proved" anything.

Sure, Top Gun has rock songs in it, but those songs also date the movie, which IMO you don't want for a superhero movie.

The worst part of Batman '89 are those awful Prince songs that date an otherwise timeless movie.

Get me a rope. :cmad:

Why tomorrow? Is that the date it's supposed to be online?

well it's about 2 days before release, counting midnight showings

Well, red carpet premiers are usually on Wednesdays so Sucker Punch will premire on March 23rd. Rather than have some pirate copy float on the Youtube or something like that, it would be better to just release the trailer on Tuesday on the Internet and call it a day. That's what happened with the first Trailer and is happening to Captain America as well.

Prince songs awful? Wtf? (seriously).

I hope you're right, I'd love to have the trailer tomorrow, but I thought trailers typically debuted on thursdays. I didn't think red carpet premiere trailers leaking was a common occurrence.

Is there going to be a trailer with sucker punch?

Whats will happen: or the trailer surprisingly arrive with Sucker Punch and comes online at monday or he just comes after WonderCon 2011 and delay rumors comes true.Hope for the first option...
