As long as it pays itself and makes some extra money, Warner will be happy.
This was not good. The only thing I could say about the article is that it's not very certain if the people polled actually saw any of the trailers/film clips that were presented. Another thing to note was that they were not allowed to vote on their own film (if they were associated to one), so, in a way there was an inherent bias since they might or might not have had to vote for the best film in their opinion.

So you think it was bias because people were NOT allowed to vote for the movies they were involved with?
Why do you think it was some conspiracy? Maybe, just maybe, Green Lantern didn't impress people?
Thor and GL were both mentioned 3x as a potential bomb. I don't see what the big deal is, though- they picked the sequels as hits, and the newcomers as bombs. The entire thing seems silly and inconsequential.I don't see what's concerning about that article. Thor was mentioned more frequently as a potential bomb. The only movie that should be really worried is Cowboys and Aliens. That's clearly the consensus bomb.

The last Thor trailer got a lot of criticism for it's humour. I think it gets less criticism because we have seen a lot more of it than Green Lantern.I like how the article said that Paramount and Marvel Studios' "Thor" may be about a Norse god comic-book figure, yet it's actually funny." The sad thing is that it has comedic scenes and it get a pass over here and other places. Green Lantern tries to do something like that and it gets pummeled for not being serious and dark.

I remember some felt the same way about Iron Man. I think if the movie is good people will probably go see it. And the second trailer may be amazing, and really attract the masses.
JAK®;19986533 said:Iron Man had complaints about a generic teaser trailer, and got a lot more support from a far superior second trailer. But people were still saying it was nothing special before it came out.
You can never predict these things.
Hmm, i have heard some people talking that, thats the reason to talk it.

Funny because after the first footage we saw, Aliens looked like a hit to me.
I personally think that Thor and First Class are going to perform worse than Captain America and Lantern.
Poster on display on WonderCon! Holy **** this thing is awesome!
