well I was just about to create a similar thread... and I might because its partially related... do you believe in psychic powers?

my whole life I've known I'm psychic... little things here and there that are just beyond coincidence. but the other day was when I had proof enough for myself to really believe it. I've always trusted my instinct and I think that has something to do with it, too.

so I left work like normal, and for some reason was just totally convinced that I was going to get in a wreck. like just absolutely knew it and was preparing for it. went to workout, left an hour later and headed back to my apt, and the entire drive back I was staring in my rear view mirror cause I thought someone was going to rear end me. I was 100% confident it was going to happen. I got to a red light and was super nervous, heart racing, just waiting for a hit. nothing. go on green about a quarter mile and got to traffic and stopped like the person in front of me. 10 seconds later... BAM this girl on her cell phone rear ended the hell out of my car. I was more stunned about knowing it than I was worried about my car.

so now I've been on a search to find out more about real life examples of these things and learning to control/strengthen it...

Everyone is psychic on some level, just some people don't realize it. I've had many things like that happen to me, for example: I had never seen The 25th Hour but heard so many good things about a speech in it. Something told me to check the movie channels some random day. So I check, and The 25th Hour is on. I caught that scene right when it started. There's also been many other times where I'd get hunches that something would happen and it would, crazy s**t but I brush it off as coincidence.

actually I have stuff like that happen all the time, really. always have, just small things like that. my mom said she had the same thing happen when she was my age, and learned to trust her intuition.

I do the same kind of thing... I'll say "hey I haven't seen such-and-such movie in forever, no one plays it anymore" and it will be ok. once I was driving home from university and thought "it'd be weird if I saw a truck from the lumberyard I worked at in the summer all the way up here, we only deliver here like once a year" ... got on the highway and saw one going the opposite way. things like that all the time. predicted a flat tire recently, too (I hope this isn't a trend, my car can't take much more). I'm not saying I'm psychic like mrs cleo or anything, and that I'm gonna use cards and predict your future and whatnot (I know she's a fraud) ... but still, I believe it's a reality

Yeeep. It's pretty cool when it happens, like once there was this thing in primary school where the class had to choose a number from 1-100. I was bulls**ting with my buddies that it was 36 or something just for fun, saying I'm psychic, and it turned out to actually be 36. Anyhoo when I try to take advantage and actually acknowledge that I can predict certain things, nothing ever happens. I guess it's one of those subconscious things. Sweet.

I'm not as sensitive to them as I use to be.
I did have an episode that was witnessed. I was in a study group in a dorm with some other girls. All of a sudden I looked up looked at the digital clock and went into a trance. I clearly said "Someone's going to die tonight." Sure as **** the next morning one of the guys in the boy's dorm fell out of his bed and suffered a major heart attack. This kid was 16 and very healthy and athletic. I had the hardest time at the funeral.

I used to get wounds that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

There've been times when I've felt a "prescence" as if something invisible was around me or touching me.

It ranges from important to pointless thing, but when it happens, it feels weird.

He is supposedly a man with mothlike characteristics and look (wings, eyes, etc.). People have reportedly seen him throughout the years in New York or Boston, I believe.

Well, with my "deja vu", I'll have a dream, and randomly, I'll do something like drop my pen on the ground, look at the television, and see something. The next day, I will just happen to drop my pen on the ground, look at the tv, and see the same exact thing I saw in my dream.

The other day, I had a dream about me focusing on something on a chair at a friend's house. My friend was talking to me and said something about a movie.
Same shiit happened the next day.
