Comics Official JEAN GREY/PHOENIX Discussion Thread

so it doesn't count as a death... Ororo was thought dead to Xavier/Beast/Jean once and I don't count it as a death. Just because everyone thinks someone is dead doesn't count as a death...
well if thats the case then I guess Colossus couldnt be counted as a death

Hmm. I suppose...

There needs to be two different lists. Deaths that were retconned, and deaths that were erased via resurrection.

It's different, Colossus died and was resurrected by Ord, his body wasn't merged with another entity, he wasn't "sleeping" in Jamaica Bay while a cosmic force impersonated him. His dead body was stolen and resurrected, so his death does count. When the body dies, the death counts. Summers' body didn't die.

^True dat. So Colossus really did die....and Summers didnt.

^....but don't don't want the PF crap :woot:

Claremont?

Nah, he'd never OFF Storm, which is what my post called for. :woot:

Nah, instead he'd have her be the first person to entirely master the Phoenix Force, which she'd then use to destroy every evil being in an effort to bring peace to the galaxy.

Oh, and she'd wind up in comprmising situations with every cosmically powered female in the Marvel Universe.

he woulcnt kill her off, but he wouldnt turn down teh oppurtunity to make her uber powerful, just in time for Marvel to yank yet another one of his books from him and get the next writer to get rid of her

True... I guess I wasn't thinking enough in the long term.

I see you left the "compromising position with every cosmically powered Marvel female" thing alone. :woot:

And then turn her into an actual goddess by having her wield some mystical weapon and...

Oh, wait.

She'd probably go after Rach first, what with the haircut. :woot:

Gotta love the mohawk and Claremont's subtletly.

haha, I dont get it. Whatever I did, it wasnt intentional...lol

What's this I see. Oh look a bunch of people still whining about the Firecrotch not being around instead of having the SAME storyline of a cosmic parasite sucking up REPEDITIVE panels while the same desperate emotional needy immature whiny men dry hump both her legs while she makes half hearted attempts to mother them.

I think Jean's sabbatical needs to be continued indefinitely.

You don't get the 'compromising situation with female' bits??

Still, just in case... Storm is *totally* bi. :cwink:

Except that she's only been in relationships with men and had sex with men and is attracted to men. That includes her narrow minded dopey HUSBAND.

Other than that, yeah.

 Bad, Darth, bad. I thought you were a fan...

It was only repetitve bc Morrison made it that way. Jean had the cosmic bird in the early 80s and didnt get it back until 2001. How is that repetitive when it was ONLY done twice?

Aw, come on.

She hung out with another woman for a couple of weeks, came back pissed off at the world and sporting a mohawk. :woot:

I *know* they've never aknowledged it as exactly what it looks like. Still, it's just too funny.

Repeat: to do, make, or perform again: to repeat an action.
(and my personal favorite definition) : to cause a slight regurgitation

I am not going to list all the Phoenix crap after the initial storyline.

I would love to see Jean Phoenix-free, man-free, kid-free and crazy-free. Wow, talk about a brand new storyline.

Hello, hun. Didn't anyone here bother reading X-treme. Oh wait, I'm in the wrong thread. Well to sum it up Storm's heteroness was all over the place. She had a quick fling with Slipstream, was ONCE AGAIN kidnapped to become some warlord/world dominating wanna be's bride. (I highly doubt they'd waste their time on a les/bi-ian.) And not only that, but Jean, Psy, Kurt and other made fun of her because of her busy social life.

Le sigh...the good old days.

:cmad:

Overcompensation. Like, totally. CC sort of realized what he'd done and wanted to make sure his muse wouldn't stray. :D

Damnedest thing is it *worked*. Kinda backfired, too, but oh well.

Oh, and we're just poking fun at CC's streak with ill-planned storylines/ideas. ;)

P.S. And I can't believe you actually chose such a line as your signature... Noooooooooo. :D
