No but I mean, what makes it copywritten? You are saying if you post it, then it is automatically copywritten? I think they call that "poor man's copyright". It's the same as sending yourself a movie script in the mail.

I don't think it is legally copyrighted if you post it, or send it in the mail. The point, I believe, is that if a dispute comes up, a person can prove that the created the material/character is indeed his or hers. I really don't think it is copyrighted though.

The mail thing is called a poor man's copyright. It's not so much as officially copyrighted, but it gives you proof that you created the subject before another person did, should you find that your work was copied by that someone else.

Exactly, I think the same type of unofficial copyright would apply in this case, if a photo or illustration is posted.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. It is not the greatest evidence in court but it would work.

Yes except with my newest sketch I have NA on his belt. I also have his circle on his chest not that wide along with the line going across a little bigger.
