Don't know if it's editing, but Serra is really the one coming off as the dick this season. Everytime you see him he's bad talking Hughes, whereas i've heard little to nothing from Hughes about Serra.
My thoughts exactly! I find it so ironic that he keeps calling Hughes a prick and someone with a huge ego and yet you hardly hear Hughes talking about Serra. Every episode it's just Serra talking about Hughes. He's obssessed with Hughes and I think he's got a crush on Hughes. I can't blame him though coz Hughes is da man.

Last night's fight was one of the best fights that I've seen watching TUF. I was so scared that Speer in the beginning. The excessive bleeding, and the 387486 minute choke hold had me worried. I'm so glad that Speer won. I was happy like Hughes was. I hope that Serra doesn't put Hughes' two guys between each other. That would be a b**** move.

Also, yeah. I thought Serra's comment on Hughes was completely unnecessary. It seriously came out of nowhere.

Serra's comment about Hughes didn't come out of nowhere. It came out of his arse.

I think the shift as to who's coming off as more of a prick this season, is due to the editing.

I would agree that a lot of it has to do with the editing, but a lot of it also has to do with who holds the title. Hughes doesn't talk as much when he doesn't have it, but he's had MORE than enough to say about Serra in the past. I'm sure the fact that he let Serra's team beat him 6 times straight also played into that.

Haha. :D

Perhaps.
That's reality TV for you. :o
You forgot to put reality in quotation. :o Editing or not, it's one sided. If I was Serra, I'd want the editing to show Hughes' "prickness" too.

Fairly certain it isn't up to Serra how it's edited...and I agree with ROOR that a lot of it is about "who holds the title"....and "whose getting their ass handing to them" in the series thus far.....Hughes was pretty smug after the Danzig match and the entire Hughes team was outright mocking Serra for his first matchup selection......that being said, Serra should really shut the hell up...it was annoying 4 weeks ago and GSP will hand both of them their collective asses when all is said and done

Serra seems pretty straight-up. You can kind of see that just from the way he coaches. I guess when he dislikes you, he just doesn't let up.

Serra vs. Hughes and Liddell vs. Silva should be good fights for UFC 79.

Yeah. I say Hughes gets his title back. I'm pulling for Liddell in the Silva match, should be one for the ages.

Anyone hear news of Cro Cop?

UFC 78 doesn't look that good. I just can't wait for 79!

Yes Cro Cop's next fight will be against Dana White.

O I'm sure Serra don't have a say in the editing and while I agree with ROOR as well, there's just so much crap talk about Hughes that I got sick of it. And some of the things he said are just plain stupid.

Straight up, that he is and I can appreciate that if he'd just not do it in every episode. Even when his team lost he doesn't stop.

Same here, pulling for Hughes and Liddell. Ultimately, I would like to see GSP get that title and hold it for a little longer than he did the last time. Would love to see Hughes and GSP fight each other again. Those top two are most definitely my favorite fighters.

I want to see BJ Penn move back up and fight GSP again. Yeah, I want GSP to get his title back and keep it for awhile, just until he fights Penn. I also want to see Jon Fitch get a title shot after his fight with Diego. He deserves it.

Whay did Sierra beat GSP by decision, or submission or knockout.

Yeah, I'm pulling for Hughes and Liddell. Liddell vs. Silva is going to be great, and I'll always root for Hughes.

C'mon guys, the Serra impression of Hughes was hilarious. The way I see it, the editing has made Serra look a lot better as a coach this season compared to Hughes.

I really enjoyed the fight between Speer and War in the last show. I thought Speer might've been done after that cut and the rear naked choke. Was it wrong for the ref not to stop the fight with Tommy Speer bleeding that much? Some people said Speer's strikes and mounts looked terrible, but he looked like he took the worst of the punishment and just unloaded for the rest of the fight, plus preventing any retaliation, and kept on that wrist-lock for the grappling.

War looked like he just gassed after that first attack. He didn't capitalize enough afterward.

I think Serra's team *****ing about George not waking them up = stupid. Wake your own ass up. I've had to deal with being in a group and trying to wake guys up, and sometimes they just won't get their asses up.

I felt bad for Rollins, but George looked like had a much better game. Rollins had a facade that Serra saw through.

FYI, if you guys like Cro Crop, you can play as Cro Crop in FIRE PRO WRESTLING RETURNS for the PS2 coming out 11/13. It's a pro wrestling game, but it includes a striking style match, and also an MMA match in an Octagon cage.

SNES was a great system.

All these next gen consoles might have the best graphics of all time, but some of the games are still absolute **** in comparison to the best SNES games.

I'm not putting down SNES, I'm just saying that it is really strange that a new game would feature the outdated graphics of the system. I would never disrespect the system that brought me Mario Kart.

The game has 2-D graphics and sprites, but that's part of the appeal of the Fire Pro series. The character animations and mechanics and AI are actually very advanced.

It also has a roster of 327 wrestlers (including US names and legends), tons of match types, and 500 CAW slots. So you can basically re-create any roster you want from any period.

It really was. The low blow part was funny as hell

Ditto. Hughes has talked bad about Serra too "We're a team & I'm sure the other guy doesn't treat his guys like a team" or something like that.

It's supposed to be a team. He could @least try. If he tried & they still didn't get up he could say "F**k it. I tried."

I want to see BJ Penn move back up and fight GSP again. Yeah, I want GSP to get his title back
He's talented enough to do it, but he's gotta get that cardio done
