Kurt's been after Ali for awhile. And with Angel away...

Y'know, we were all wondering why, in the Turner cover, Wolverine was depicted like that, in the background and brooding. Well, take a look at the #75 cover. Anyone else think the scars on Cable's face look like they were inflicted by Wolvie's claws? On that theory, could be that Wolvie's brooding because he done did something bad in the past to poor little Cable.

... In which case I will be even more bored with this title because, c'mon, we're getting enough of Wolvie's bad past in the 616, and the Ultimate team was finally settled with Wolvie.

I have a gut feeling that the annual will be the last we see of Kurt & Allison for a while....

The cast of characters is getting a bit big for UXM, so I have a feeling these two will be written out for the time being

I don't think the team is that big at all, so I hope you're wrong. As much of an ass Kurt has been acting like, I still want him tos tick around.

I had this theory that Ultimate Cable was some kind of opponent of wolverines while he was still a mercenary, and Wolverine did something to Cable that resulted in him being imprisoned. Let's say he was imprisoned in the 1990's and then wasn't released until now, 2006, with a jones against wolverine but a hard-on for helping the mutant plight.

See, it's like reverse cable! Instead of coming back in time to get to know a past he was never a part of, hes been trapped in the past and is getting to know a future he's never been a part of.

Except, hell probably just be some kind of bounty hunter or something.

Took a peek at those upcoming covers. Looks like we've got some good stories coming up. I am curious what's going to happen with Magician, if he's going to mature and stay or leave. I like him so far.

I like Magician, his cool and his character is kind of like a kid in a candy shop with being an X-men lol.

Yeah, I like his new guy enthusiasm a lot. I hope they don't make him into a bad guy or anything.

No i hope not, his like so cute in a way like the whole thing about him wanting to be an X-men and how excited he is that he is apart of the 'team' lol. I am also intrested about the HellFire club you know at the end of the last issue it was like oh wow lol.

yeah, I liked the first HellFire Club arc, I am curious where this is going. I'm not a huge Phoenix fan, but I am still excited about this book. I am also curious where the relationship between 'Crawler and Ali is going to go. I liked what I saw in the preview covers that were posted on the page before this one in this thread.

Oh yeah Nightcrawler and Ali will be intresting look forward to that. It's good to see the Hellfire club i liked them when they started up also wounder if Emma knows about it or has anything to do with it?

Yeah, who knows about Emma? I hope to see more of her end of things as far as her students go. I have always liked Havok and now Angel is there at her school.

Personally I dislike Magician, but if they keep him, I definately think they to define his powers a bit more. Right now they appear to essentially be anything he chooses, he's been able to cause explosions, make mattresses appear out of thin air, change gravity, etc.

Oh, don't worry, i am totally aware that it is not an original idea.

Just thought it would be kind of funny if Cable, the ultimate product of the nineties 'style over substance' phenomena, whose writers jhave always had trouble fitting him organically into the more recent marvel universe actually had trouble fitting into the subtle ultimate universe because he was so nineties hardcore.

WHY DID THEY BRING IN CABLE?????? That one REALLy sucks. I mean its sooo 90:s with all their time travels, Im loosing interest in uxm...

1) They've not yet brought Cable into the book. They WILL be, but that implies future, and thus we've been speculating.

2) No one said it will involve time travel. In fact, Marvel's said he'll be very different from his 616 counterpart. His intro could be very well done.

this really has nothing to do with what anyone is talking about, but can any one post any or all pictures they have of ultimate emma frost, in her i guess battle suit, i cant find any pictures, and if anyone has the lower part of her doctor suit that would also help, im trying to get down on paper what all her costumes look like and i dont have her ultimate costume since i dont really follow the comic, thanks in advance

They are like a double issue (usually the amount of pages as two issues put together) And the storyline usually involves something quite major happening... (otherwise they would use the story as a 2 part issue)
