I wish Ororo could battle him in UXM. Like a REAL battle. Later on in the run though. I just think it'd be an interesting fight.

I prefer Raney over Paquette and early Oliver. The Oliver art we saw during the Cable arc wasn't as godawful-horrid as his earlier stuff (ie: Date Night).

I never saw the reason for the Oliver hate. I thought he was pretty decent and much better than Raney to me. His art reminds me of Larocca's in a way and he's my favorite artist on this title since Immomen left

Raney's work likes like crap. How can you even say he was good. I think if you can answer that question, then you can understand how I feel about Oliver. I guess its just different strokes for different folks. I dont see the "crap" that others see. The only complaint that I had with Oliver was that he drew the woman's hair short, mainly Jean and Rogue, but other than that, Id gladly accept him as the regular to this book

Oliver's art grew on me. I didn't like it until the 'Cable' arc, it was pretty good there.

I think they will wait until the arc that will center around issue #100 before having a proper apocalypse arc... that would be around fall 2008 (next year)...
