Now that there's an updated image with a girl (Psylocke?) on the left of the image, it becomes a little more obvious of the ensemble mix of silhouettes.

Chick on the left is probably Wicked

Hmm seems like we get yet another shot of this woman. Does anyone have any guess on who she is? I wanna say Psylocke but than again she looks nothing like what Psylocke looked like in her lasr appearance. My other choice is that it might be Jean with a new look. Look at this character's eyes, the only character I've seen with that kind of bright green eyes has been Jean Grey. Also don't forget the preveiw art that shows this character being haunted by visions of all the dead X-Men. I don't see just some random nobody being haunted like that.

Psylocke is dead and considering that she got such a nonchalant death that it didn't even merit an on panel death, it's not her and Loeb didn't try to save her if he wanted to use her in this. And why couldn't it be someone random and new? Characters are introduced like that all the time.

No reason why it couldn't. Just wishful thinking on my part. If this is supposed to be a continuation of the overall mutant story I would like to see at least a couple friendly faces along for the ride.

I'm thinking the one in the back is Firestar AKA Liz Allen, who went to the X-Men after finding out she was a mutant in Ultimate Spider-Man.

Maybe a radically different version of Beak? Either that or Icarus like nightbeat said. Also that last shadowed character has gotta be Ult Liz Allen (Firestar) flamed on.

Maybe they just realised that such a huge number of characters had been bastardised in the lead up and during Ultimatum that it would be best just to whip up some new ones that have a minute resemblance to old ones

Actually, I wouldn't mind that. We couldn't complain about the plots being sooo different from 616 b/c it'll be all new characters. Our old faves(the ones who didn't die ) can't be ruined any further, and we can jump back into the Ultimate-U with no attachments. As long as the new characters are better than "The Magician".

Spoons! The Magician was an awesome character! He was made by Kirkman! You cannot disagree! Rawr Kirkman! He's better than all'a us!

well atleast we'll be seeing one character I actually recognize. Always liked Ult Liz Allen anyway. She and Dazzler are some a of the few characters that they radically changed when they ultimized them.
