Ha, Bobby can't die. No, seriously, he blew up a few years ago and survived. Bobby is fine.

I know. I believe that Kurt will die, which sucks.

I just want Iceman to have a bigger role. It's too awesome a character to be left on the sidelines for so long.

Maybe he can join the Avengers. They did offer him (and Angel) membership once before. :woot:

will Bishop even be in this thing. I wouldnt mind him dying. I see Kurt being dead in 2 weeks. I think Cable will die later in the crossover to spark whatever change is needed in Hope. Its too early to get her all angsty and angry

Same here. I see Bishop popping in during the 2nd act and dying out with Cable around the end of the 3rd act.

Probably some kind of Phoenix manifestation.

*fingers crossed*

Move back to San Francisco as superheroes

These covers and solicits are very spoilerish for second coming. I don’t get why Marvel didn’t list them as classified

Looking through all the new covers of new issues of every tread...none of them has satisfying art. *sigh*

So, read some early spoilers for tomorrow's X-Men Legacy...

I have to hand it to the creative teams behind the event, Messiah Complex took a while to get going but it was good in the end for me. Messiah War sucked, but Second Coming so far has been pretty good. Every chapter has been like a chess match between Cyclops and Bastion and this issue is no different.

So by issues end Kurt, Rogue and Hope are on the way to Utopia while Cable, Wolverine and the rest of Alpha Squad (how awesome is that name) are left to play decoy. Next issue is in X-Force and that's when someone's supposed to die. Kurt's a goner, methinks sadly.

[BLACKOUT]theres no guarantee for any particular character that they will die. Its all speculation. Out of all on the alpha team (assuming one of them will die), for many it seems like Nightcrawler is the most likely candidate. Nightcrawler is a vet so he would count as a meaningful death as opposed to some random C/D lister, but at the same time he would be a safe choice as none of the writers were really invested in writing for himl. Again its all speculation but if he makes it out of this story alive, I will be surprised.[/[/BLACKOUT]QUOTE]

I had a feeling it would go down like that. Cant say I will miss him too much, but at least he got to go down a hero. I guess the countdown is on for [blackout]Cable[/blackout] next. Not looking forward to that :(

These are comic books, they always kill/bring back people and they will bring him back sooner or later, there's no doubting that.

But what I enjoyed was how powerful a scene it was.
"Mister Wagner?" "...give me strength..." "Elf." Damn, everything about how they pulled that scene off, I loved it. And it fits the story to a bit. Second Coming, Nightcrawler being a man of faith ending his life with "I believe in you". Powerful stuff, a proper "death" to Kurt Wagner.

Agreed. And I loved the bit where the Alpha Team return to Utopia and Psylocke just looks at Scott and Emma and says, "Who?"

Yeah, this was seriously a beautiful issue. And it's not just in terms of Choi's art, which is obviously always pretty beautiful. No, the writing itself - and the plotting and its pacing - creates an emotional gravitas that, linked with the artwork, creates an incredible resonance on the page.

Oh, and can I just add that Choi's Cable always looks ****ing awesome?

I've decided to not listen to comic book reviews. For the most part I don't seem to agree with a lot of popular reviewers out there and it starts to dampen my enjoyment a bit.

WTF is Molly doing on that cover?
newest X-man courtesy of Fraction. Rememebr she is a mutant and he's been collecting ALL of them. Nah, actually dont know why she's here. I really hope it lasts shorter than Cloak/Dagger
