I like how when Whedon was doing his thing on AXM, it never really effected the rest of the universe. In fact I remember Quesada himself saying how AXM would continue to "walk between the raindrops" of the Marvel U.

Then Whedon goes and does that to Kitty. Heh.

The hilarious part is when other writers found out about it. Kitty appeared in (adjectiveless) X-Men a single issue before Messiah CompleX started, implying that Whedon's "Torn" and "Unstoppable" arcs happened after the X-Men detected the birth of the new mutant baby, but before they flew to Alaska to retrieve the baby.

You would think something on that scale would have to be approved and everyone else given the proper notice.

Regardless I enjoyed his AXM run, now his Runaways stuff? My stance is that it all ended when BKV left.

Kitty is just stuck inside of a giant hollow bullet that's flying through space. Because no one has found a way to find her and bring her back, she's as good as dead.

Until she makes her big return, she really is dead. I cant see how she can survive out in open space for so long. She would need to eventually breathe and eat

Eh. The next writer who comes along can say that the bullet was caught in some sort of gravity field and stopped not long after it flew away from Earth, and Kitty's been living on an alien planet the whole time.

Hmm, a lot of interesting developments in the latest issue:

Spoiler

~ Kavita Rao shows up as the latest member of the X-Club.

~ Empath is still around in the Graymalkin prison.

~ Wolverine asks Northstar and Aurora to join the X-Men and they accept.

~ And for the biggie, after snatching Kwannon's body, the Sisterhood reveal they also somehow have taken Psylocke prisoner as well, and put her soul into Kwannon's (aka Betsy's original) body.

You pretty much got it, but nothing was explained in New Exiles or the Sword of the Braddocks one-shot to explain how she ended up that way. And yes, they did.
