If you're talking about the girl next to Colossus in the classic uniform, I think most of us are assuming that's Magik/Illyana.Kitty is blond on X-men 2nd Coming' cover

t:And Gambit.agreed. Dazzler and Northstar too please! lol

You know we never really ever saw them on a team together. The only time they were on a squad together was when Havok joined and the book was cancelled a few issues later. During that time Havok didnt go on the mission to the Savage land with the original 5. He and Scott werent even together during Hidden Years. I think Holy War during Austen's Uncanny run was the only time during Alex's last stint in the X-men that they actually fought alongside each other...When can I see Scott and Alex on the same team, I want the brotherly interaction/fist fights.

except for Xavier's out-of-character protest to Magneto, i thought this was a good issue. im really enjoying Uncanny right now. this is probably the book i look forward to the most every month. not to sound like a kiss-ass but i have very little to complain about this title. im loving that Cyclops is a real take-charge leader but still battling with doubts and making unpopular decisions while his closest friends call him out on it. i love the vast collection of X-Men, (the return of Psylockenew issue = horrible. This is the flagship title yet the worst X-book on the market
t
, and how this truly is now an actual fight for the survival of their species. sure there are a couple details here and there im not crazy about, and not every issue is gold, but i haven't enjoyed X-Men this much since Lodbell's run.
new issue = horrible. This is the flagship title yet the worst X-book on the market
Magneto kneeling at his feet was the worst part of it. I hate this infatuation Marvel seems to have with Scott now almost treating him as if he's some type of god. Im finding Uncanny to be terrible. Im getting more enjoyment out of the other books. X--force Legacy and New Mutants are much better reads as far as Im concernedit's because the X-men have moved from being the "it" title at Marvel to being these guys over in the corner. Looking at the plots for the last couple of years it really seems like they are just throwing anything against the wall and seeing what sticks. The current issue had Magneto kneeling to Scott. MAGNETO KNEELING TO SCOTT!!!!! Now if you dont see that as a gross mischaracterization then you are propably one of the scores of fans that love Scott "Mary-Sue" Summers. IMO the X-books need to be re thought out. You have 2 books in which the same characters show up while countless other X-men have become the "where's waldo" of the X-men.
Xavier's always had a bit of a soft spot for Magneto as despite their views, he considers him an old friend. Only when provoked, does Xavier oppose him. Magneto came in peace and offered help and allegiance to Scott and the X-men, yet Xavier got all emotional yelling at Scott not to trust him. Xavier looked like he was ready for a fight and saw Mags as the enemy even though he clearly wasnt trying to fight any of them. His outburst seemed kind of odd bc they didnt have a hostile relationship, last time they were together. I think that was in Excalibur and they were allies, actually working together to help mutants. What's this about Charles doing some out-of-character protesting against Magneto? First Storm yells at Emma for no reason, now this?
Magneto kneeled and said he came to praise him. Yeah WTF? Fraction's obsession with Cyclops is getting out of hand.Wait, what? Magneto kneeled before Scott? Isn't he the one who said that Scott's attempts to lead mutants would lead them to extinction back in #500? Either Matt Fraction can't remember stuff he himself wrote, or Magneto is working the long con.
And given that Storm went from "I'm giving Emma advice on how to be a leader" to "Who the hell died and made Emma a leader?" in about 10 issues, I know which one I'm inclined to believe.
