Even Magneto at his most amiable would only go as far as shaking Scott's hand, and maybe patting him on the back for a job well done at kicking Osborn's ass. And that's Claremontian benevolent Magneto I'm talking, here.

I think the part of kneeling was too over-the-top, but at least Fraction remembered to write Scott correct Magneto's phrase, though I hope he won't step on a turning-Scott-into-some-sort-of-Mosey-of-mutants road, I don't like that.

You know we never really ever saw them on a team together. The only time they were on a squad together was when Havok joined and the book was cancelled a few issues later. During that time Havok didnt go on the mission to the Savage land with the original 5. He and Scott werent even together during Hidden Years. I think Holy War during Austen's Uncanny run was the only time during Alex's last stint in the X-men that they actually fought alongside each other

Havok did go with them to Krakoa.

I agree which is more of a reason why Scott's current method is all wrong. What we have here is the equivalent of society saying murder is ok and Jeffery Dahlmer saying "What took you guys so long to come over to my side."

that was off panel though. That story opened up with the rescue mission to save Havok and the rest of the X-men

Oh God. Not Phantomex! All the old school X-Men that have been largely ignored over the last few months (or years), and they decide to bring IN another character rather than use one who's already relocated to Utopia.

didnt read New X-men? Fantomex wasa a prominent part in the Assault to Weapon X arc. Come on your a Cyclops fan. That arc was all about the 2 of them teaming up. Before that he showed up earlier in the series while Xavier and Jean were on their world tour

You know, it'd really be nice if the Stepfords weren't just a single drawing copied and pasted. I understand that they speak in unison, but I have a hard time believing their hair reacts to the wind the exact same way strand-for-strand when they run.

Her powers don't look like that, but Magma wouldn't dress like that. Not sure who that is. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Boom Boom and Land just couldn't draw the little balls for her powers.

Thats definetly Boom Boom. Thats the same thing she was wearing in X-force. To Land's credit, her powers do work like that so he got this right. Towards the end of her run on the original X-force, she learned to channel it into a stream of concussive force. This happened during Revolution when Ellis took over and started changing up people's powers

I wonder who the blonde is though in the pic with Namor. Magik, Magma, Cuckoos, Dazzler?

yea thats a Cuckoo. when they use their telepathy their eyes always glow blue and you see them wearing the New Mutant-type uniforms in the next page.
