Why they keep bringing up Emma's past when they have Wolverine walking around everywhere?

Just a random thought but: if the Cuckoos are clones of Emma, why do they have blond hair?

I havent actually read Phoenix-Warsong, which is where this was revealed. But thats what I gathered from around the internet...they're cloned daughters..whatever thats supposed to mean

Yeah, Sublime harvested eggs from her while she was comatose from the Sentinel attack that originally killed the Hellions.

Ugh. The only post-Morrison use of Sublime is that he created the Stepfords from Emma? Meanwhile not one writer at Marvel wants to bring back the U-Men.

They arent clones of Emma. At least one of them is her biological daughter and the rest are clones of that child

as dumb as it was, I hate that it was never referenced outside of Warsong. Considering that series had such a major revelation, I cant beleive they never did anything with it. You would never beleive that Emma was their mother as it hasnt been brought up. She doesnt care for them now anymore than she did before finding out their connection. Ditto for them too. At the end of the series, they got diamond hearts to contain the Phoenix and they were supposed to be emotionless, but writers dont seem to know that. At least preview pages show that at least one aspect of that mini is finally going to be brought up again, and its about time bc I think Marvel was trying to forget Warsong even existed (I know most fans already had)

If I were in Emma's shoes I'd find the idea of having three supposed kids/clones popping up out of nowhere to be really awkward, especially for someone who finds it hard to show personal feelings like me.

I'd probably choose to maintain a safe distance (emotional at the very least) between the girls and me.

that makes sense and all except Emma looked more maternal in Warsong. She shared an emotional moment with the Cuckoos and referred to them as her girls and her daughters. She was pissed at the end and vowed revenge on Phoenix for what it had done to them. Since then though, all of that has been thrown out hte window

and he had them all grinning and happy during the Sisterhood arc. Still its not all on him most of the writers seem to ignore it

I like having Namor, Cloak and Dagger in the team.

Other than those, there are only 2 characters who have never been X-Men, that should be:

Quicksilver and Firestar.

But, we all know that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

are they on the team though? Cloak and Dagger have done diddly squat since they came here outside of the random cameo. Fraction keeps adding people and having them populate the backburner. I know people here were happy when he addead Northstar but look where that went. Psylocke is the only new addition that he's been actually utilizing. Everyone is just filling up space here

I know that. I'm still glad that Cloak and Dagger are X-Men now. Hopefully whoever takes over the book in the future can utilise them better.
