No, I read that series too, and he was always in a wheelchair. If he ever did walk, it was only temporary and through the aid of some machines. He didn't start walking again until after House of M, in Deadly Genesis as mentioned above, and I remember that specifically because it was one of the "big reveals" of the mini.

Man, I miss that book

One of the only Claremont books I ever actually liked. He did have some of the problems he usually does, but not nearly as bad as any of the other writing he's done since he came back to the X-books.

I like Xavier walking too. I just wish someone would DO something with him. He's gotten to be like Aunt May. He's kept around just because of his legacy. Luckily, Aunt May's had her marriage to J. Jonah's father to sorta spruce her up and give her something to do.

lol...he wasnt. This was Xavier in Excalibur. They even gave him a new wheelchair. His legs werent healed until after M-Day hit

Man, I really loved this book. Freakshow was such an awesome character.


Other changes you might want to know is that:

1. Forge has appearantly gone crazy, and is presumably dead.

2. X-Force was put back together as a team of personal assassins under the orders of Scott.

3. Angel reverted back to archangel, and can change form at will, but is now a cold blooded murderer who works under Scott on X-Force, who is a team of other cold blooded murderers.

thats bc Marvel wont let anyone surpass Cyclops at the moment. Xavier was always the head boss and they've had him take a back seat while elevating Scott. Id love to see him have a purpose again but they'll have to restructure things first bc they've made him irrelevant within the type of X-men that is currently being written

Just read the newest uncanny x men comic. It was really good. Sort of interesting how some of the supervillaqins,(thug, burst), have a resemblence of powers, (not much, but some), to the brother hood members. (thug=blob, burst=quicksilver.) A little though.

this was Legacy when Emma and Scott entered the scene. Man I hated that issue and how Xaier got crappd on yet again

What really grates my cheese is Scott's whole "Sorry, Professor. I can't let you leave Utopia and expose the Charles Xavier who's associating with Norman Osborn as a fake, because... um... I'm in charge and I'm being a dick" thing. That scene felt like it was only included simply so they can show that Scott has command over Charles, even though it lacks all logic. It also establishes that Charles is the only person who's not allowed to leave Utopia, so he'll probably never get to do anything ever again.

I wouldn't say Scott's accepted Erik/Magnus/Max/Whatever the Hell his Origin Says His Name is this Week just yet.

Honestly, I do think Magneto is up to something. I mean this is Magneto we are talking about here, even if Fraction has him meaning well, you know in the end he'll end up backstabbing them with an ''I WAS LEADING YOU ALONG ALL THIS TIME" plan.

I said somewhere around here (might've been this thread or another one) that I think Magneto didn't intend to do anything when he arrived, but he'll naturally be inclined to do something devious like take over Utopia later on. After all, if he arrived with ill intentions, Charles would've found out when he mind-raped him a few issues back.

This is Marvel we are talking about. They'll come up with some contrived way or dump the fact that Charles ever did that, when it's time for Mags to go evil again.

You know what would be crazy? If Magneto was under Charles' control this whole time. When he mind-raped ol' Max/Erik upon arrival, he made him his b****.

I mean, we are talking about All-New, All-Unabashedly Manipulative Professor X. He hasn't played by his old "I won't enter your mind without permission" rules since getting shot in the head.

was looking at the #500 Dodson variant and it got me thinking, why did Bianchi have to mess with Dazzler's costume?? she looks just fine here. just slap an X on her chest and move on.

I dont think theres anything wrong with her current costume. I could do without the star crotch, but the actual costume itself, is not a bad design. I dont like that its now colored the generic blue/yellow. It looked better with the silver

it does look better in silver, but they obviously went and brought back everyones "classic" looks and with 1000 X-Men now and half of them wearing the same thing its like the only way to distinguish her is to put colored sparkles around her. also im a fan of simple character designs and i find all the patterns and colors on her distracting.

Dazzler needs to go back to her blue costume w/o the headband with her hair still long (as depicted in that Dodson cover).

The New/Young kids need to go back to either their squad uniforms from the Weir-DeFilippis/Brooks run or their unique costumes from the Kyle-Yost/Medina run.

The New Mutants need to get unique costumes.

Shadowcat can go back to the classic yellow/black w/popped collar look when she returns.

Armor... What did she wear before she took Kitty's spare uniforms, anyway? Pajamas?

My favorite Dazzler look was her 90s Mojo costume
