Okay so maybe someone can clarify this for me - when the heck did the Professor come back to the mansion? And why is he there? He's human! I'm sure this happened and was explained in Deadly Genesis, but I won't read that until the trade comes out. How long's he been back and how did people react at first?

He hasn't been back long, this takes place very soon after Deadly Genesis(where you will find more answers) ended, and the only reactions to him, besides the ones seen in this issue, that have been shown are from Cyclops, who wants him to get the hell out of there for what he did to him and his family.

Yeah, Cyclops is a tad upset at Charles for not telling him he had a third brother, mind-wiping his meeting with him, altering his memories of Krakoa, getting his brother killed, not telling him that he got his brother killed, and using a sentient lifeform as the mainframe of the Danger Room that would later rebel and nearly kill him.

Oh, and Emma has brought to surface Scott's fear that Charles picked him to lead the X-Men out of pure pity.

Don't forget as well that the entire area the mansion sits on, that the X-men use is owned by Charles. Emma and Scott may have rebuilt the mansion but I doubt they are paying Charles rent for using his land. So really while Scott is made he better becareful when it comes to what he actually says I think. Especaillya Emma. If Charles wanted to, he could force them I believe to move the actual mansion off his land, charge them back money, etc...

So really it made the whole him wanting Charles to leave seem pretty silly. Actually when I think about Scott really needs to check that anger as well. Sure Charles screwed with his head, etc but Scott has done his fair share of horrible things. I find abandoning your wife and newborn child and not even bothering to keep in touch with them until called on it by your recently found alive former girlfriend to be worse then mind wiping a horrible event from someones mind. Lets not forget all the kids that died on Scott's and Emma's watch. Or how they've allowed the school to be turned into an determent camp.

After seeing next weeks previews I'am I the only one to think that there is still another cast member to join the book. I mean Bru said it would be around issue 4 when we saw who we assumed Darwin. Now remember he may have known that the previews shown would have Darwin so has he something else up his sleve????

Well, I'm hoping it's Psylocke since we know she's on the back burner until Mr. Claremonts' return.

As of New Excalibur she was thrown out of the 616 reality, so that'll be a no go.

Darwin is pretty much confirmed.

I'd like to see darwin join the team, i think out of the three mutants other than vulcan on the deadly genesis team he had the most potential and most interesting powers. Hopefully he'll be used sensibly. Im loving Warpath as well i think he's gonna go well beside Kurt, with their two juxtaposing personalities.

1) Nightcrawler kicks so much ass.

Nightcrawler kicking ass is great. I have to say I'm quickly becoming a fan of Rachel Though would like it if her skirt was a bit longer. Never cared for the really short ones like that. Anyway can't wait to get the new issue. Just wish we didn't have to wait a month between issues usually.

I think all comics should be released twice a month. If not every month, have it happen every other month. For example say January has 1 issue but Feburary has 2 issues and March is back to 1 and it continues on in that fashion. That way you can have two issues that connect to each other and that one issues could be somewhat of a standalone to a degree but still apart of the overall story.

Okay, so Vulcan is Scott's brother...and Warpath is Thunderbird's brother? And are these two new creations or have they been in the comics before. I'm just really confused because I didn't read Deadly Genesis. Hardcover just came out...is it good enough to buy in HC form or should I just wait for the trade?

^ Warpath isn't new. He was in X-Force before this. And waaaaay back in Uncanny, he was a Hellion who lured the team into a trap once, as revenge for his brother's death.

Vulcan is new. Can't help you with Deadly Genesis, as I haven't read it either.

I wasn't a huge fan of Warpath, but I always applaud when they add a non-traditional character to the X-Men, and I can't wait to see where Brubacker takes this team. I'm hoping we get the next great X-story out of the Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar.

It seems many of the greatest X-stories come from their space stories, when the Shi'ar are involved.

Yeah Warpath hasn't been a new characterin years, while Vulcan was really introduced about 5 months ago. this book is going ot be great but i'm still kind of mad that tan is off for some of the issues.
