Just because it has "Batman and other DC characters blah blah are copyright" doesn't mean it is official even fan sites have them letting you know that it's owed by DC & WB.

i wouldent know, ive never made my own site, though it does seem a tad early? any one remember when the begins one appeared or for that matter spiderman 3?

That means the creator of the site simply hotlinked it to the Warner Bros. site. It's a really a piece of cake to do so, actually.

I'll second that. While www.thedarkknightmovie.com could be the URL for the new movie, I doubt that they'd title the page "The Dark Knight Movie". Just doesn't feel very legit to me.

If you remember back to when Begins was being filmed, the first image on the site, other than the bat logo, was of the tumbler. I would've thought they would follow the same suit with The Dark Knight and the Bat-cycle or Bat-pod....but apparently not. I think it's about time for some sort of update on the site....Your Thoughts?

It's b/c Batman Begins was so ushered in. It seems to have grabbed people, so....I think marketing is going to be bigger this time b/c people will be excited by it, instead of thinking it'll be the same as B&R or something.

Plus....it's the Joker. You can't keep a film with him THAT quiet.
